Too late baby!

You haven't learned that everything you post to the internet is forever. Your Facebook and Twitter posts (the stuff you don't want people to see and therefore know about your bat-**** crazy views) have already been archived by media companies and liberal bloggers. you cannot scrub the Web Archive.

There is no escaping or hiding from your past you vile bitch.

Set the scene: Valentine's Day, 1966, Kent, WA. First day of new school, 6th grade after moving from Nashville, TN.

Teacher: Stand up and introduce yourself to the class. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Stacy: Mah naaaaayme is Staaaaaycy and ah just moved frahm Naaaaashville, Tennuhseee.

Class starts laughing.

Stacy: Whaht's so funny?

Class: Your accent.

Stacy: Whaaaht accent?

Dumb move. Guarantees the press scrutiny will only increase. But was the last time she made a smart move.

Mah dayud My father was in the service (USAF), so we moved around a lot. I grew up mostly down here in south MS, but the year I was in 5th grade, he got stationed at Griffiss AFB, in Rome, NY, and took us with him (he usually went to places like Pakistan and Alaska alone, because eight kids were a load to lug along). Anyway, you can imagine how that went my first few days in school. And, since we came right back down here after a year, I never had the opportunity to lose my accent. Not that ah really hayuv wun...;)

I wonder what "The Rain In Spain Stays Mainly On The Plain" sounds with a thick Southen accent...

I have no doubt that a great many real life Henry Higgins make good money ridding upwardly mobile Southerners who have moved outside the South of their accents...

The press should have been kicked out. This was a town hall meeting to talk with constituents, not a press conference. The press was welcome to observe and record and report, but they were not to ask any questions. That was the agreement. Then a member of the press asked a question anyway. If the press can't play by the rules, they should get the boot.

Have you ever seen a game of craps from a moderate distance? It's like that. A large group of people huddled around a table, who periodically burst into loud shouting for some indeterminate reason. But they seem like they're having fun, so no one kicks them out of the casino.

And yes, the only place I've ever seen CAH being played is in a casino, true fact*.

So whose rules? She invites the press because she wants free coverage of the event. They should have refused (if what Greene claims is true about said agreement, and we can't be sure of that).

It's not that I don't think she represents them - I just don't know if she'll ever listen to them, or be an effective advocate.

I've worked for Cybersecurity companies that specialize in uncovering the dirt. But those guys worked more at searching for deleted files and emails that corporate executives tried to get rid of. There's always some backup file somewhere that didn't get deleted. Always.

Dang. Wish they could have rustled up another body double (body triple?) long enough to get past Jan. 20.

I am one of those who thinks the clues were delibertly planted there by Lennon and Macarthy as a joke to be revealed at the right time. but it ended up being released as a distraction from the fact the Beatles were breaking up.
it's just the kind of thing Lennon would have though was hilarious, and Paul would have gone along because it could prove great publicity.

I am all but certain that once you post a tweet or a Facebook post or a YouTube comment, then even if it is up for only a second, and you delete it right there and then, it is too late, its gone into the database, and while it has been marked as deleted (so it doesn't show) it can still be recovered.

Particularly true if you are a celeb or a public figure or someone else whose Twitter account is closely watched.

A couple of Dems have introduced a bill to expel Taylor Green from the House.
Just for show, folks.
The Dems WANT Taylor Green to stay right where she is; she is doing more damage to the GOP then the Dems could hope to do in a hundred years.

If it's anything like FB or Nextdoor posts that notify me, it stays in my email even after the post or thread is deleted.

I recall seeing a post or tweet or something that was made before the event by one of the local news agencies (I think it might have even been the one that got kicked out) that said that they would be covering the event but that the press was not allowed to ask questions.

It was a WRCB reporter who was kicked out. WRCB's own coverage of the event says, "Once on property, members of the media were told they would not be permitted to speak to anyone attending or ask any questions."

Politicians hold press conferences that allow the media to ask them questions. A town hall meeting is to talk with constituents, not the press. At town hall meetings, sometimes the press is not allowed, sometimes they are allowed to attend but not ask questions, and in some cases questions will be taken from the press.

The purpose of limiting the press is because the event is to talk with constituents, not do a press conference. The press can cover the event, but the press is not part of the event. If the press is told that they attend to cover the event but not ask questions and then ask questions anyway, they should be told to leave.

Bull ****. The Dems have seen exactly how much damage having nutbags like her in positions of power can cause. Trying to get her the **** out of congress isn't "politics as usual", it's critical to the survival of the US as a democracy.

If Dems want her to stay, they would try to shame Republicans to oust here, but not make any direct move themselves.

She is not damaging the GOP. She is embarrassing the few remaining Republicans who aren't clinically deranged, but that small group will either start pretending to be mentally ill or be voted out in the next election or two.

Sadly true....the Republican Party has slowly shifted to becoming the party representing the deranged bigoted section of society. The only hope is that many of the sensible republican electorate will move away from the party.
