The Marjorie Taylor Greene thread.
She is the Qanon Conspiracy supporter who was elected to the House from Georgia.
She is off to a great start. Engaged in a fight with one of most powerful GOP House leaders; Attacked Mask wearing and said she would not wear one even if House rules require it And when Kevin McCarthy, House GOP leader said she had renounced the Qanon conspiracy thoery, she quickly denied that. And much more to follow no doubt. Guaranteed, the GOP House leadership will hate her a lot more then the Dems will as she becomes a major league embarassment to the party and no doubt will constantly attack the GOP House leaderhsip as being RINOs and Traitors. |
She's the woman who recently posted a Youtube video of her working out in her hotel room because the evil Dems in DC had closed all gyms.
It was later confirmed that not only are gyms open in DC, but the gym in her hotel was open while she was doing her room workout. |
They'd better condemn her openly and whenever she goes full loony, or they lose all credibility, if Republicans indeed have any credibility left.

Ah, Georgia. I went to college in Georgia, and lived there a couple of years afterwards. It's a deeply crazy place full of deeply crazy people. It's next door to Florida in both physical and metaphorical senses.

Don't forget Alabama where the latest newly elected senator,, Tommy Tuberville, recently declared that the 3 branches of gov't are the House, the Senate and the Executive. Not only that, but he gave use the heart warming story about his father who stormed the Normandy beach at 18 and drove his tank to Paris where he never forgot the faces of the people who were so thankful at being liberated from the Communists and Socialists. I kid you not. The southern AL/Fl panhandle is where my dad's biological paternal family is from. Thank God he was adopted by a Democrat family in another state or I might be driving a truck with a Trump flag AND a Stars and Bars flag with a QAnon sticker and a rifle in the back window.

I don't want to bothside this, but AOC and the squad have been a major theme in the Republican campaign ads against more moderate House members. And it has proved a successful strategy. |

Dan Crenshaw has already called her out. At least someone in her party is willing to go on record to tell her to STFU. |

But can she put a wig on and dance? |

Espicially seince it's clear she is going to be at war with the House GOP leadership. Oh, in public they will not say much about her, but behind closed doors, they hate her guts. |

She is going to wage war on the GOP leadershipt becsuse it looks good to her Qanon followers. I wonder if the voters inher district, understand they elected somebody who does not give damn about helping the, but about using her seat to make her the defacto leader of the Qanon movement. |

We need to get a betting pool going on how long until Greene plays the race card. Not too ong I suspect. ANd I have a thoery that the MAGA movement might well go in a anti semitic direction. I have already seen on some message boards what amount to "I love Donald, but I needs to get rid of that Jew Son In Law." Let's just say the average Trump supporter seems to have all the same traits we see om Amto Semites. |

I think a great many Truimpsters don't like Trump's coonections with Jews. I would not be surprised if Jared..who I btw, cannot stand...becomes the scapegoat for Donnie's defeat. |

We've seen right here on this board the claim that Donald's actions didn't go far enough due to the influence of his family. |

She doubles down on the "Masks Are Evil" nonsense:
(from the WAPO) "Masks will now be required at all times in the hall of the House of Representatives, including when lawmakers are recognized to speak, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Tuesday. “To be clear, members will not be recognized unless they are wearing a mask and recognition will be withdrawn if they remove the mask while speaking,” said Pelosi, the House speaker. Mask mandates have gained traction across party lines as an effective way to slow the spread of the coronavirus. But the House rules could be tested by a vocal mask opponent elected in November: Marjorie Taylor Greene, the Georgia Republican perhaps best known as the first open supporter of the QAnon conspiracy theory to win a seat in Congress. Greene tweeted her displeasure at Pelosi’s mask announcement Tuesday: “Is this the Marjorie Mask Mandate, @SpeakerPelosi? An oppressive violation of my rights. #MyBodyMyChoice” Greene did not respond to The Post’s questions about whether she would follow the House rules. In a statement provided through a spokesman, she said The Post should ask Pelosi “when she is getting the vaccine” because then “she wouldn’t have a reason to force me to wear a mask.” Rep. Don Beyer (D-Va.) responded to Greene’s tweet by defending the mask mandate as an important protection for staff. Vaccinating the country is a massive logistical operation, and it will take months for vaccines to reach the general population. “Masks protect people around you and you don’t have a special ‘right’ to endanger Congressional staff or Capitol Police officers,” Beyer tweeted. Many scientific studies have found that new infections fell notably after leaders instructed people to consistently wear face coverings, and Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, testified before the Senate in September that masks are “the most important, powerful public health tool we have” to fight the virus. Over the summer, Pelosi had said that members of Congress could remove their masks temporarily when recognized to speak." We don't need all this evil, deep state science stuff.... Like I said, the Dems will make her the poster child for GOPers in the house, and the GOP House leadership will hate her guts for being such a source of trouble. |
Am I allowed to say Marjorie Taylor Greene is brain dead?

If you drew a Venn diagram of Stupidity, Ignorance and Conspiricism, Marjorie Taylor-Greene would be firmly positioned at the centre of the intersect. |
I think the one thing this whole election debacle has done is cut the truly brain dead GOP Congress critters from the regular dumb GOP Congress herd. Now to put the T brand on them, castrate them, and send them to the slaughterhouse.

Taylor Geene is living up to reputations and she is not even officially a House member yet.
I got a feeling that SNL is already casting one of it's cast members as her. |
