Question... Someone (SG?) posted yesterday that the committee rules keep noms sealed for IIRC 50 years. Are eligible nominators just saying "yeah, I submitted his name" or what? |

Trump's like that except he'd ask where you'd mount the bayonet on a bomber. |

Mmm. To poke a little further at the Lincoln Project and the Supreme Court - Here's an interesting argument that's worth considering -

Eric Trump on Fox today said
"The LGBT community, they are incredible. And you should see how they come out in full force for my father every single day. I'm part of that community, and we love the man." |

I was never able to quantify it, but every single police agency I talked to could remember quite a few cases off the tops of their heads. |

I can think of a lot of classic news photos that would probably not even run today. There would be plenty of reasons to rationalize covering Parscale's case, but him giving up his right to privacy isn't a big issue for me. It's not about his rights but about a news organization's general practices. I do have to keep remembering, however, that my information is out of date. Still, you know how when there's a disgusting video everyone can see on YouTube and the news will run a fragment of it bracketed by warnings that "This could be upsetting to some viewers"? Then they run an edited fragment that doesn't even include the worst part. |

Trump Tweets
Joe wants to shut down this Country. I want to keep it OPEN! Joe Biden could not name a single Law Enforcement group that supports his candidacy! The American people want LAW & ORDER — Joe Biden won’t even say those words! I did more in 47 months as President than Joe Biden did in 47 years! If we listened to Joe Biden on coronavirus, millions of people would have died! |

What I love is how the staffer tries to mimic Trump's idiotic mannerisms, but doesn't dare go too far (no obvious spelling mistakes, punctuation OK). |

Darrell Issa @DarrellIssa US House candidate, CA-50 Tonight, Joe Biden made it clear that if he’s elected he’s prepared to perpetually lockdown the American people, shut the economy down again, and make sure schools stay closed. That statement alone makes it worth fighting every day between now and November 3rd. Trump Retweeted Text TRUMP to 88022 @GaryCoby “Joe Biden will smile in your face and stab you in the back... Deceiving and lying to the American people.” America wants a STRONG leader who will go toe to toe with other countries. We want someone who will actually tell us what they think. AND that TRUMP ECONOMY !!! Trump War Room - Text TRUMP to 88022 @TrumpWarRoom Isaac in Pennsylvania: "I'm an African American male and I voted Democrat all my life... I realized that Democrats are not really for the people, they are for themselves.... Trump is really stepping up and putting pressure on" China. |

Brandon Straka @BrandonStraka Replying to You cleaned his clock. Full stop. The American ppl give a damn about 2 things right now: leftist violence & the shutdown. Biden denies the violence happening before all of our eyes & wants to keep America shut down. You called him out & pressed on Hunter’s corruption! Bravo |

The trump presidency is based on lies. As debate moderator Chris Wallace noted last night, in 2016 trump campaigned against the Affordable Care Act saying he had a cheaper, better plan. Four years later he has never put forward any such plan. In 2017 trump inherited a rising economy which he has continually claimed credit for. Credit for what? There was no 'turnaround' after trump took over. Just a continuation of trends that began around 2011.
It's all lies. And that's his 'talent.' Being able to look people square in the eye and lie his butt off. |
He also inherited a post-fact society that makes even the most transparent lies possible.
It's trivially easy to show a trumpkin a graph that shows unemployment plummeting in the years before Trump took office. Yet lots of trumpkins believe it's thanks to Trump, and that he's even "done more for African-Americans than anybody else" because unemployment is low for them, too. |
Yeah. It does service to the concept of "Truth" to even call Trump a liar.
A liar is someone who says something knowing it is false. Trump has no concept of true or false. He can't lie, he's not honest enough. |
