Greene also posted a video of some CrossFit workout (with some terrible form according to many fitness people) and declared this was her COVID prevention.
Because, y’know, no athlete has caught COVID to date, all those NFL & NHL players must have just been slacking off https://worldnewsera.com/news/politi...id-protection/ |

What is it with these people and infectious disease? I thought over the last hundred years or so medical science had pretty much established how they are transmitted. Greene recommends lifting weights and doing pull ups as protection (instead of face masks and vaccines)?
Unbelievable. |

I saw somewhere mention that Greene is calling vaccination confirmation "Biden's mark of the beast." Class and poetry combine.

Has anyone asked MTG's parents if she was dropped on her head as a baby? Or was kicked in the head by a horse? Or played football without a helmet? Or hit herself in the head with a hammer repeatedly? It would explain a lot.

If someone really can't see the fallacies in their thinking that's a pity, but some people IMO use fallacies as a distraction, knowing some people will be determined to educate them about various fallacies and errors of fact. But if the errors and fallacies are deliberate, reason probably isn't going to help because the lies and fallacies are a well-calculated attempts to provoke a reaction. MTG probably knows elected officials don't need to swear on a bible, but it won't help to point out she's wrong. Her remarks serve a dual purpose: to get the lie widely accepted by her fans, and to get a rise out of people who value facts and sound reasoning. So just say something peripheral like, "Omg, I sure needed to hear this. Does it have to be the KGV? I need to know because I'm buying Bibles for a courthouse." (I wrote this because I think the remark about CrossFit is hilarious. Take what she says and run with it - but obliquely, in a direction she didn't plan on going). |

You all have to cut Marj some slack.
It's not like she has anything else to do. Like committee work or anything. So she has to invent things to work on by herself. |

I think when people delete tweets or IG posts they're showing an IMO suspicious compulsion to manipulate their public images. Which they absolutely have a right to do; I just think it smacks of a lack of integrity. We haven't seen the end of the pitfalls of social media ;) ! With luck it will eventually trigger some degree of skepticism of the images people are trying to build. |

I like pointing and laughing at this clown as much as the next person, but I think these characterizations of her being an idiot or insane really miss the mark.
It doesn't matter that her proposed bills are nonsense and have no chance of passing. It doesn't matter that her impeachment bill for Biden was a dead end. These are political stunts intended for her base, and her base doesn't really care about effectiveness, they care about belligerence. If anything, MTG is cementing her popularity with the reactionary voters that are increasingly the base of the conservative movement in this country. |

3/4 of self identified Republicans believe there was widespread fraud in the 2020 election. These people are not reasonable, and they don't want reasonable representatives. They want peacocking idiots like Trump and MTG and Boebert and so on. They reactionary freaks stoking the fires of the culture war. |

I think any savvy Republican saw the 2016 Trump takeover of the party and correctly concluded that the era of "principled" conservatives is over. It's all about instinct now, not ideas. |
