Ha ha!
From: CNN A New York state judge ruled Wednesday that Eric Trump must sit to be deposed by the state attorney general's office by October 7, denying his request to delay an interview as part of an investigation into the Trump Organization until after the presidential election, according to the attorney general's office. Remember, initially Eric Trump said he would get interviewed, then said "nope, I am pleading the 5th", then said "I will but after the election". Sadly I don't think anything particularly damaging will come out of it prior to the election. Unless of course he decides to plead the 5th, which can be embarrassing to Stubby McBonespurs. |

Of course, that stuff will likely collapse on Trump. (1) He’s too cheap to hire high-end anonymous death squads, so once he partially stiffs them on payment, they’ll come forward to confess. (2) And it is quite possible there will be a money trail and an e-mail trail. (3) And even if they avoid those two obstacles, Trump will feel the need to publicly brag about it. |

A "vision" is not a plan. At best, it is a goal. More likely, it is not even that. This is something that is very common in this administration, and it is completely consistent with what you would expect given the president's past as "the boss." His entire approach to solving a problem is to tell his workers to get it done. As the boss of his businesses, his role was to decide what problems that needed to solved, and he delegated the solution. That's all he has done. He's decided, "I want to solve heath care. OK, you people, get it done." That's what a boss does. It's not what a leader does. |
That's Trump though. On the rare occassion he actually claims to have a "plan" the plan is never anymore complicated than "Just do it."
Trump is one of those people who honestly think the reason a problem exists is because there's some obvious "from the gut, common sense" solution that all the smarties are thinking about it too much to see because he's an idiot who understands the problem on a surface level at best. |

This is literally one of the jokes from Idiocracy. President Camacho announced his "3-point plan" to solve the country's major problem. #1 - I've got a guy. #2 - He's really smart. #3 - He will solve the problem. |
Quote:
That's pretty advanced for him. Usually he's more like a 2-6 year old. Then again his solutions do tend to be made up out of whole cloth, which is more like a toddler's or child's approach. "How do you think we can beat the virus, Timmy?" "Drink the cleaning stuff in this bottle, because then the virus dies! And, and, and, take this flashlight, and shine it down your throat to light up your insides, because then you can see if you have the virus!" |

It's this whole idea that the only reason we have problems is because all those uppity elitist in power just aren't as smart as they think they are with their fancy book learning and don't realize they are making the problem more complicated than it really is and all it's gonna take is a salt of the Earth person with some common sense and street smarts to go in there and cut right through the Gordian Knot is one of the core prospects of Trump's persona that he sells to his followers. It's always 100% insane nonsense. He's every douchebag who's asked a depressed person if they ever tried "Just not being sad" times 1,000 and applied to everything. He's every troll who posts "Just buy a Mac" on every thread about a PC problem. He's an idiot who has mistaken his not grasping the full scope of a problem because he's never either had to deal with or bothered to learn anything about for having some kind of laser focused B.S free insight the rest of us lack. That's why even on the rare occasions he actually proposes a solution to something it's a 5 year old's understanding of how real solutions to real problems work; rarely anything deeper or more complicated then "Just stop having the problem, have you tried that?" |
I want to take a little time out to acknowledge various people for their contributions to the current state of affairs:
The GOP toadies who said spectacularly negative things about Trump in 2016, yet fell in line Bernie Brothers, but I'd be remiss not to give Susan Sarondon a shout out Jill Stein and her Russian sponsors Hillary Clinton, with an honorable mention for Bill Comey Putin Kanye West Last but not least, the cultists I loathe all of you. |

Nor does he understand what blowback is. Nor does he understand how to create and follow a family budget. Nor does he understand that the loss of a job can mean the loss of a place to live for many millions of people. Nor does he understand how a medical problem could bankrupt a family. Nor does he understand how crushing student loans can be. Nor does he understand enough history to know that his simple solutions have been tried and they failed. ..... I’m not even convinced he understands the concepts laid out in an eighth-grade civics course. And I’ve seen a citizenship test. I’m not very convinced he could pass one on his best days. |

And it's really even worse than that.
The President having that stupid "I don't understand the problem, therefore the solution must be a simple Draconian type solution and everyone is overthinking it" mentality so common among "da salt of da Earth" stupid people would be bad, but it wouldn't be all that unique. Trump is doing a bad imitation of it because as I keep pointing out "solving problems" and "making things better" are not in his best interests and because he's just as bad as "thinking with his gut" as he is "thinking with his brain." |

Camacho in a landslide. He at least never had the chance to not be an idiot - he was on the tail end of hundreds of years of breeding and social conditioning that promoted stupidity and ignorance over intelligence and learning. Trump has no such excuse. He's stupid because he's lazy, and squandered the huge opportunities he had on account of being born into wealth. And even then, Camacho outshined Trump when it really mattered. |
