I didn't see any cite when I searched the thread using Shokin. I'm particularly interested in the "his explicit stated refusal to do so" part and where it comes from. I'm aware that people say nothing was happening.

Hunter doesn't work for or at the foundation. Hunter is a wealthy guy who was living in CA at the time. Why would a wealthy guy fly across the country to drop of a laptop at an unauthorized five and dime shop run by a self admitted blind guy? If it's an important repair, you get it done where you live and can easily pop in to pick up the finished product. You also go to a competent authorized repair shop. The zillion miles is valid because you don't fly across the country to drop it off close to your dad's house.

No, there are claims with no sources. I know they exist, although they contradict reality.

https://www.kyivpost.com/article/con...?cn-reloaded=1

"The PGO clarifies that the court satisfied the petition on February 2, 2016."

This is just right before Biden has him fired. Also

http://www.europeanukraine.org/home/...er-zlochevsky/

"The PGO reminded that on 25 December 2015, i.e. when the court passed on the decision on removal of arrest of Zlochevsky’s property, the prosecution authorities conducted a preliminary investigation and did not implement procedural guidance in the criminal proceedings due to the fact that the criminal proceedings were transferred to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

In connection with the passing of the law of Ukraine «On amendments to the criminal procedure code of Ukraine regarding criminal proceedings which are investigated by investigators of bodies of Prosecutor’s office» 27 January 2016 the criminal proceedings were returned for further pre-trial investigation and procedural guidance to the General Prosecutor of Ukraine."

So action by Shokin stopped while it was turned over to NABU for a short period. That's about the extent of "not investigating," by all other accounts there was movement in the investigation and charges, going so far as to confiscate Zlochevsky’s property.

I know you and everyone here will say, but, but, but, people said he wasn't doing anything, yet I just showed you he was.

Then what happened, Zlochevsky returned to Ukraine in February 2018 after investigations into his Burisma Holdings had been completed in December 2017 with no charges filed against him.

So they fired the guy who confiscated his property shortly before Biden got him fired and put in a guy who closed the investigation with no charges.

Why would Hunter Biden, who lives in California, bring multiple laptops full of compromising content all the way to the other side of the country to his father's house just to drop them in at a repair shop nearby? Apple headquarters is on the west coast of the USA. It would have been faster to send them there for the best service in the world.

But that would not have been handy to this weird and wonky tale, would it. ;)

Joe Biden was calling for Shokin to be fired in 2015. Brining up stuff Shokin did in 2018 seems to be off topic.

Here's evidence from the time period in question: "Hunter Biden, 45, a former Washington lobbyist, joined the Burisma board in April 2014. That month, as part of an investigation into money laundering, British officials froze London bank accounts containing $23 million that allegedly belonged to Mr. Zlochevsky.

Britain’s Serious Fraud Office, an independent government agency, specifically forbade Mr. Zlochevksy, as well as Burisma Holdings, the company’s chief legal officer and another company owned by Mr. Zlochevsky, to have any access to the accounts.

But after Ukrainian prosecutors refused to provide documents needed in the investigation, a British court in January ordered the Serious Fraud Office to unfreeze the assets. The refusal by the Ukrainian prosecutor general’s office to cooperate was the target of a stinging attack by the American ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey R. Pyatt, who called out Burisma’s owner by name in a speech in September.
"

tl/dr version: Ukrainian Prosecutors refused to provide documents needed in the fraud investigation into Burisma's owner and the fraud investigation was for before Hunter Biden even joined the board.

https://www.kyivpost.com/article/con...go-407348.html

From Feb 4, 2016

Check your dates, Shokin didn't do squat in 2018, I even quoted the relevant date which is mentioned in both articles, "The PGO clarifies that the court satisfied the petition on February 2, 2016."

Now that we got that out of the way, it's clear there was an investigation given the contemporary article cited.

So the investigation was ongoing, not before Hunter Joined the board as you incorrectly stated.

Also, Shokin was appointed Prosecutor General of Ukraine on 10 February 2015. So basically your telling me Biden was asking for his removal for not investigating Burisma, even though he was, and he was doing it in 2015 while Shokin couldn't do anything regarding the Burisma investigation because criminal proceedings were transferred to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

"The PGO reminded that on 25 December 2015, i.e. when the court passed on the decision on removal of arrest of Zlochevsky’s property, the prosecution authorities conducted a preliminary investigation and did not implement procedural guidance in the criminal proceedings due to the fact that the criminal proceedings were transferred to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine."

That lasted till

"In connection with the passing of the law of Ukraine «On amendments to the criminal procedure code of Ukraine regarding criminal proceedings which are investigated by investigators of bodies of Prosecutor’s office» 27 January 2016 the criminal proceedings were returned for further pre-trial investigation"

What a bizarre question.

You clearly aren't discussing this honestly. You said he wouldn't have went all that way JUST to drop off his laptop. And that's clearly what I was asking about given I highlighted it. Now I'm asking why you would characterize it like that given his father lives about 15 miles away, his brother's foundation is up the street, and he was born there and lived there most of his life, and some of the businesses are registered there?

What's bizarre is your attempt to characterize it as if Hunter Biden would never be in Delaware, and your straw man that he wouldn't have went all that way JUST.........

Craig4 25th October 2020 07:36 AM

Why argue about it? It's turned out to be a non-event. If the story was going to get traction, it would have by now.

You seem to think that 15 miles away from his father's house and 2500 miles away from his own house isn't out of the way to go to find a blind unauthorized repair guy. To me that is an insanely long way to go when Hunter had authorized repair shops that aren't run by people who are too blind to do the job much much closer

In accompaniment to this sentiment, the deadliest of earworms should be imposed or invoked. That being this phrase in a Disney song; "Let it go, let it go."

You assume he didn't have a problem with his laptop when he was already in Delaware. What makes you think the repair guy is too blind to do the job?

At this point, if you listened to the interview he gave, I'm not sure why you are asking this. Are you unaware he claimed not to be able to see who dropped off the laptop due to "a medical condition?"

Wait, of course you are. You seem to legitimately buy that Hunter would take important laptops to a shop thousands of miles away from his house that wasn't authorized to do the repairs. Gee, it's "only" 15 miles from his dad's house, maybe Hunter was just cruising around while staying overnight at Dad's place, and impulsively decided to stop at an unauthorized shop? Do you think he didn't want to go too far because he was borrowing Dad's car and didn't want to have to put gas in the tank?

Also London stopped the investigation before Shokin was even appointed. In January 2015, the Central Criminal Court in London released the $23 million that were blocked on accounts of Zlochevsky due to inadequate evidence. Shokin was appointed the next month. And within a month of NABU handing the investigation back to him in January 2016, Shokin seized Zlochevsky's assets in Ukraine.

Anyway, from social media I just got the idea that while Hunter and Joe were making that meth deal with the cartels that there was an altercation and in the confusion a prostitute got shot? Who bothers to get laptops repaired these days anyway? And after being given $1b by China? It must be one heck of a drug-habit that guy's got to burn through so much money.

Just one of the many stupid things one has to accept to swallow this story, I guess. Apparently Giuliani/the Ruskis think Americans are so gullible that we'll accept that Hunter was so desperate to keep compromising pics and/or videos that he's willing to hire someone to restore the laptop it's on, but not willing to leave contact info, check on, or pay for the repair. Judging by this thread, there are at least a few who really are that easily deceived!

Foggy of the Fogbow 25th October 2020 01:37 PM

The whole story is just self-contradictory trash, with no basis in fact. The shop owner said he gave the hard drive to the FBI last year. He's lying, but even if he was telling the truth, the FBI (understandably) found it to be a nothingburger with nothingfries and a nothingdrink on the side.

But I understand why some people are desperate to try to manipulate the story so it appears to make some kind of sense. They just don't have anything real to smear Joe Biden with, and they NEED TO SMEAR JOE BIDEN.

I give them an A for effort. And an F for any sort of grasp on reality.

Oh no, it makes perfect sense that he would fill a hard drive on an expensive Apple laptop with incriminating information, and then fly 3,000 miles to give it to a blind Trump supporter and then just never come back for it.

That's the kind of thing I do all the time. Don't you?

The really stupid thing was the Russians using Giuliani for the fake smear. Didn't they understand how disreputable he's become? He's nothing but a blabbering, blubbering bobblehead now, that poor bunny. :D

The wiki on Hunter Biden claims that Trump said that Biden got 1.5 billion from China not 1b.

Searched hunter biden and laptops pics and got a pic of Hunters bad teeth, him smoking a cig. And one of him in a bathtub with his finger up.
