That stupid bitch better have a good back-up plan. She's going to be radioactive come January. I'm assuming her plan is to work on whatever the Trump's media network will be. That will likely fail like everything else Trump does.

Of course there isn't.

I've said it before, no real, actual healthcare plan that is an alternative to what we have now exists in secret.

There are healthcare models available in the world. They are present in places like "think tanks" and academic journals. They have been argued about and debated by lots of people, with their strengths and weaknesses addressed. These are developed by smart people with expertise in this area, and the same is the case for the critics.

If there were some awesome new model that could replace our current system, and cover everyone and do it cheaper, there would be people talking about it all over the place.

There is no way in hell that Ivanka and Jared have solved it, and there is no way in hell that if they had, they would be hiding it away.

"Who knew healthcare could be so complicated?"

Besides everyone.

Top HHS official takes leave of absence after Facebook rant on CDC conspiracies

“And when Donald Trump refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin,” Caputo said.

He referred to the killing of a Trump supporter in Portland by a self-declared "anti-fascist" as a "drill."

“The drills that you’ve seen are nothing,” Caputo said. “If you carry guns, buy ammunition, ladies and gentlemen, because it’s going to be hard to get,” he added.

Caputo also said an unidentified "they" are "going to have to kill me."

I think this could actually help the Democratic candidate, though. Because it's a strategy, and some people might think it's clever, and want to have clever people running the government. Dems aren't scheming enough, IMO - enough, that is, to counteract the snake**** tactics of the right.

JoeMorgue 16th September 2020 12:57 PM

I like that the Republicans think the Democrats have found a black woman to act as a sleeper agent to turn on blacks and women when she gets in power.

No Republicans finding the one member of a minority demographic that hates that demographic to parade about is your skill, not theirs.

Some of the people around him may try, but only to a small extent. If they try too hard they won't be around him anymore.

I think that these twits from Trump used to come in smaller bursts because his handlers would get his phone away from him from time to time. But they have since realized that it really didn't matter what he posted, because his cult members loved all of it, and nobody else could do anything about it.

So why bother trying to stop him?

I posted this in another thread. It's 20 years old and Trump is still saying the same old ****. And that run for POTUS in 2000? Maybe he will and may be he won't.

Well, why not he evidently had taken leave of his senses.

Why the heck would Trump have cause "to stand down at the inauguration" unless he lost? The previous assertion of Biden simply not conceding to a loss just doesn't cut it. It just came across to me as expecting Trump to lose and not "stand down".

Two of my Trump supporter coworkers binge on this koolaid and are discussing how they are arming themselves for their expected fan/excrement interface.

Biden speaking today

“Folks, the president's first responsibility is to protect the American people, and he won't. It's utterly disqualifying.”

“Let me be clear: I trust vaccines, I trust the scientists, but I don't trust Donald Trump. At this moment, the American people can't, either.”

Biden responds to Trump blaming him for the lack of a national mask mandate by correctly pointing out that Trump is in fact the president

Fake News!! He suggested injecting disinfectant. He never specifically said bleach. ;)

Captain_Swoop 16th September 2020 01:24 PM

Seems pretty easy for Biden when the President says insane things about him. He just has to point out that he is not the President and doesn't say insane stuff.

Safe-Keeper 16th September 2020 01:49 PM

Trump does seem to make it easy for Biden, to be sure. It's like being the sibling of a bully who respects no rules or boundaries and has no respect or compassion for anyone around them. All their sibling has to do is act like your average kid and they'll come across as a little angel to their parents.

I do think there's a lot to be said about Biden having a lot to gain from simply sitting reasonably still and not drawing too much attention to himself. Never interrupt your opponent while they're making a mistake, but be sure to point it out to everyone afterwards.

To poke at a couple things -

Looks like there have been some more findings about DeJoy's performance.

For example,
Quote:

On-time performance dropped in every single Postal Service District in the country, but the service delays were particularly pronounced in certain areas likely to prove critical to the November election: service fell by 20.4% in northern Ohio, 15.8% in the Ohio Valley, 19.1% in Detroit and 17.9% in central Pennsylvania, in addition to a 19.2% drop in Honolulu.
Elsewhere -

Yeah, they're still not even trying to hide their Fascistic tendencies.

President Donald Trump has not held a single mock debate session, and has no plans to stage a formal practice round, as he readies for his first faceoff with Joe Biden in less than three weeks, according to multiple people familiar with the discussions.

Oh, never mind.

Why should he, don't you remember how against Clinton he was perfect, as Trump will have said "sir, how are you so amazing at debates, I've never seen anyone debatingly bigly like you did!"

And yet, because he didn't actually soil himself on live TV, the consensus was that he performed far better than expected. With expectations set that low, it's easy to see how he can exceed them.

In any case, even though there was a general agreement (though by no means a consensus) that Hillary beat him in the debates, it didn't seem to affect his support at all.

Why bother to prepare in depth for debates when you intend to ignore inconvenient questions and instead parrot your favourite catch phrases throughout ?
