But I don't claim that everybody would think you're joking. We live in a Hieronymus Bosch world now, and nothing is too monstrous to appear. I'm joking, of course, I think. |
MTG was one of several right-wing politicians and pundits to declare that a white nationalist rally in DC over the weekend was staged by the Feds. She's never seen "patriot" groups wearing khakis, so they must be fake.

In Charlottesville, demonstrators turned out in polos and khakis. But their seemingly innocuous clothes spoke volumes. why white supremacists are co-opting khaki pants In the leadup to the Unite the Right rally on August 11, neo-Nazi Andrew Anglin, who runs the hate site the Daily Stormer, put out a call for white supremacists attending the march to look "appealing" in an effort to attract "normal" people. "Do not look scraggly," he emphasized, after providing a detailed dress code that recommended button-up shirts and well-cut pants (strictly no shorts). He ended his PSA: WHY DO MEMBERS OF THE ALT-RIGHT LOVE POLOS AND KHAKIS SO MUCH? Nearly a year into the Trump era, nobody is surprised by emboldened racists anymore, but what did raise a few questions was their choice of outfit: it quickly became apparent that these slavery enthusiasts had picked out a uniform for themselves that consisted of white polo shirts, khakis and tiki torches – although that last one might not be a permanent fixture of the look. Fred Perry withdraws polo shirt adopted by far-right Proud Boys Company distances itself from US fascist group as it halts sales of garment in North America |
We can shake our heads over the antics in the solemn monkey cage of fascism, both yesterday and today, but those goons gain confidence from adopting uniforms. It makes them feel military.
Just wait, we'll be seeing black shirts again. |
Marjorie Taylor Greene says January 6 defendants are getting pumped full of "critical race theory training" in jail and are told "they have to denounce President Trump.
They are told that their views are the views of cult members." Videos in link https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1468282340237619207 |

The only explanation for this is that either MTG is nucking futz or she's got an IQ lower than my pothos plant. Or both.

I would agree that some of these people are more absurd than Crenshaw, but it's laughable that there's really any moral or intellectual distinction between where he draws his boundaries and people like MTG. They're all clowns, time will tell which the frothy mouthed right wing base will find more entertaining. |

Sarah Palin also refuses to get vaccinated: proof that getting vaccinated is the smart thing to do.
|
Just for the record, one of the reasons Palin gives for refusing to be vaccinated is, she says she has already had Covid-19 and believes she has natural immunity. Palin was reported as having the virus last March in People magazine.

In an attempt to show how "Not Racist" the MAGAchud are, MTG resorts to using racist slurs...
From: Business Insider Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia attracted criticism for using a term widely seen as a racial slur in boasting of the racial diversity those who support former President Donald Trump...."When I walked in yesterday, I was like, what kind of people come here?" Greene said. "So I'm walking around and seeing some good people, and I see white people, Black people, brown people, yellow people."...She went on to mock those who accuse the pro-Trump movement of being racist.... Greene's use of the phrase "yellow people" is itself a racist trope, critics pointed out. Stay classy, MTG. Maybe she was just channeling the spirit of Inspector Clouseau, who used a similar term when referring to his Asian-born manservant. But the big question is, do those yellow people control any space lasers? |

I often find myself wondering which of these right wing losers are actually drinking the conspiratorial flavor-aid, and which are just savvy enough to know you can get the vaccine and lie about it. |

"Ya know can just lie? Got get the vaccine and still brag to all your brainless QAnon buddies about how you didn't?" |
Lying and cheating are second nature to people like MTG. Making **** up has been her stock in trade. That's why she aligns with people like Trump and Gaetz. So much so that it's a pretty safe bet to expect that, right off the bat, anything she says is probably a lie.

MTG, as has been previously stated, appears to be nothing but an attention whore. And apparently, any attention is better than no attention. Kind of like a toddler. A few days out of the news cycle will lead her to say anything. What a maroon.
This is quoted from a story listed on MSN from Blavity. *********************** Conspiracy theorist Marjorie Taylor Greene showed her true colors, again, while trying to diminish the meaning of Kwanzaa. Taylor made her latest ignorant statement while responding to a tweet from the College Republicans group, which tweeted "wishing you a happy and prosperous Kwanza." "Stop. It’s a fake religion created by a psychopath," the conservative said in response to the tweet. "You aren’t bringing in new voters, you are turning them away. People are tired of pandering and BS." https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/wel...-AASboOL?ocid= ********************** Disparaging other people's celebrations sure doesn't seem like a very good way to bring new people in to grow your political party. But then she doesn't seem to be able to say anything nice about anyone that isn't already a deplorable, in my opinion. |

Kwanzaa is a religion?
I wonder if MTG is really this ******* stupid, or if she knows she's wrong but understands that she has to appeal to moronic bigots to have any chance of keeping her office. It's feeling like the former to me. |

My own guess is that she really is more stupid than she seems because unlike many who realize it and rue it she cultivates it. Some struggle as they sink while she pulls from below. |

A wee Jewish guy is visiting friends in Glasgow, Scotland. Walking home one night he sees these two big bruisers coming towards him. "Hey pal!" one of them shouts "Are you a Protestant or a Catholic?" He has heard of the religious troubles in West Scotland so he is very relieved to be able to reply "I am Jewish." The two guys look at him for a moment, then say to him "Aye, but are you a Protestant Jew or a Catholic Jew?"
