WH Chief of Staff @MarkMeadows said the President’s healthcare plan is “ready”, and that it will be an “executive action with a legislative component”.
But he did not say when they will roll it out.

It's going to cure all cancer and give everyone a full head of healthy hair. Just got to wait a couple of weeks. Well, till after the election at the latest.

Americans, if you are good and vote for Trump, you will get some healthcare on Nov. 5th.
But if you vote for Biden, Trump will send out his Death Panels.

But that's health care, too, isn't it? After all, it solves your problem. And the Repubs have never actually said what they wanted to replace the ACA with, have they?

Yeah, it's not like the electorate needs any actual information a month and a half before an election!

But Trump put so much effort into preparing for the debates!

From: NBC
President Donald Trump has not held a single mock debate session, and has no plans to stage a formal practice round, as he readies for his first faceoff with Joe Biden in less than three weeks, according to multiple people familiar with the discussions.

Oh, never mind.

Oh come on, how much practice do you need for some stream of consciousness
when it's your turn to talk, and yelling "WRONG!" every time your opponent speaks? Trump probably doesn't get why anyone would prepare.

I would love for Wallace to bring two bicycles to the debate and challenge the two candidates to a race, though :D .

That's been part of the problem with most Republicans the last decade or so. They've collectively made the great mistake of believing their own propaganda.

Propaganda like "Dem Leftists want to destroy America!" is all fun and games when all we're talking about is what an obscure tax rate should be, but now that they actually believe that line, we're at a point where they've politicized the response to the pandemic, because they can't bring themselves to admit that the Democratic governors are honestly interested in promoting the health and well being of their constituents.

Of course there isn't.

I've said it before, no real, actual healthcare plan that is an alternative to what we have now exists in secret.

There are healthcare models available in the world. They are present in places like "think tanks" and academic journals. They have been argued about and debated by lots of people, with their strengths and weaknesses addressed. These are developed by smart people with expertise in this area, and the same is the case for the critics.

If there were some awesome new model that could replace our current system, and cover everyone and do it cheaper, there would be people talking about it all over the place.

There is no way in hell that Ivanka and Jared have solved it, and there is no way in hell that if they had, they would be hiding it away.

"Who knew healthcare could be so complicated?"

Besides everyone.

I think this could actually help the Democratic candidate, though. Because it's a strategy, and some people might think it's clever, and want to have clever people running the government. Dems aren't scheming enough, IMO - enough, that is, to counteract the snake**** tactics of the right.

I like that the Republicans think the Democrats have found a black woman to act as a sleeper agent to turn on blacks and women when she gets in power.

Some of the people around him may try, but only to a small extent. If they try too hard they won't be around him anymore.

I think that these twits from Trump used to come in smaller bursts because his handlers would get his phone away from him from time to time. Why the heck would Trump have cause "to stand down at the inauguration" unless he lost? The previous assertion of Biden simply not conceding to a loss just doesn't cut it. It just came across to me as expecting Trump to lose and not "stand down".

Seems pretty easy for Biden when the President says insane things about him. He just has to point out that he is not the President and doesn't say insane stuff.

Safe-Keeper 16th September 2020 01:49 PM

Trump does seem to make it easy for Biden, to be sure. It's like being the sibling of a bully who respects no rules or boundaries and has no respect or compassion for anyone around them. All their sibling has to do is act like your average kid and they'll come across as a little angel to their parents.

I do think there's a lot to be said about Biden having a lot to gain from simply sitting reasonably still and not drawing too much attention to himself. Never interrupt your opponent while they're making a mistake, but be sure to point it out to everyone afterwards.
