Well he'll be receiving the 'wonderful drugs', I doubt he'll get much worse. Doctors can really do magic if money are not an issue. Here in Czech we have a saying .. swines survive everything, and I've been reminded that several times with our current president. Don't hold your hopes up.

You have interesting definition of "entertaining".

I won't deny that I found his toddler-esque antics at the last debate rather entertaining because I expected nothing more from him. It's not like his behavior during the 2016 debates or the last 4 years had led me to believe he was capable of anything else. When you expect to get Moe from the 3 Stooges and you get Moe, it's entertaining.

I think Trump would have to claim he was mentally superior and that is a reason he survived. Of course, even something as egregious as that probably would not turn the faithful away,

Sadly the trumpkins in their post-fact bubble won't care. All Trump has to do is say the common cold kills five billion Americans a month and they will laugh at stupid Biden wearing a yuge mask because of 200 000 covid deaths.

The rest of the audience will be reminded of what a sorry, despicable creature he is, though, so I'm all for it.

Yeah, I saw him taking a few deep breaths when he took his mask off. I also noticed he's back to wearing his fake tan, too. And what's with the salutes? Trying to look presidential?

Pre-planned photo op. Notice how he gestured the WH photographer to come up and get some photos.

They'll have to draw a clock, remember five words, and blow into one of those things they use to decide if your lungs are held together mostly by pneumonia. After that is the gom jabbar but I'm doubting they'll need it by that point.

I would be quite happy with a much smaller effect. If he got just a little light headed (yeah, yeah, I know) and had to steady himself by holding onto the podium. Started to speak gibberish (yeah, yeah, I know) and the moderator paused the discussion to ask Trump if he felt ok. If something like that happens, it will own the next 3-4 news cycles ... in a bad way for Trump.

More nonsense from Dr Conley today, claiming Trump aced a pulmonary function test, the kind you blow into. All the docs behind him nodded in agreement.

Which is why getting us to a post fact world where "Jumping off a bridge is stupid" is "just... like your opinion man" is so important to the Right.

And why keeping a somewhat objective larger picture in mind should be important for everyone else. Extremism should be treated as referring to some relatively objective criteria, otherwise, the extremists on the right would happily get to the point where moderate right is being called extremist left.

At last check, a person is supposedly usually only to be treated as contagious for the first 10 days after a positive test. So there's that bit of "hopefully it'll be okay." The 14-day bit is more that symptoms/positive tests normally start showing in that window after exposure, if one is infected.
