According to that interview, Giuliani is claiming there are at least 2 other laptops that used to be Hunter's out there, that are or were in the possession of known Russian asset Derkach:

Quote:

Kennedy asked him about his work with Andriy Derkach, “who’s believed to be a Russian asset,” and asked Giuliani about the claim from Derkach about a supposed second laptop.

“Why is he saying that? Because he did have other laptops. I know of two others that are in the possession of other people,” Giuliani said.
So the known Russian asset magically has possession of multiple laptops that Hunter Biden lost or forgot somewhere, and he's shopping them around? And we're expected to believe this isn't Russian disinformation?

Tero 28th October 2020 05:36 AM

Foxnews WSJ et al have dropped the Hunter Biden story, because, well, Trump and Biden and the last minute "barnstorming" is the only story now.

Foggy of the Fogbow 28th October 2020 05:38 AM

Well, heck, she accused him of being like Christopher Steele.

And Christopher Steele is a highly respected former British intelligence agent. who did a great job investigating Russian ties to Psychobozo before the 2016 election.

Giuliani wants you to know he's not a highly respected anything. He's a sleazy, corrupt, incompetent moron who thought that sucking up to Psychobozo would bring him some sort of benefit, and who was filmed reaching into his pants to straighten out his penis so that if he got an erection it wouldn't be folded in half (which can be painful).

So, umm ... yeah. Comparing him to a respectable person was a low blow. Bad lady!

Firestone 28th October 2020 05:59 AM

This whole "Hunter Biden laptop" story is so lame that most won't touch it.

Dave Weigel, from the Washington Post, who sometimes follows Pence on the campaign trail, noticed that Pence never refers to the Hunter story (he did often refer to the Wikileaks dumps in 2016).

Other example, today at a meeting in Iowa:

Quote:

[AR Senator] Cotton didn’t mention Hunter Biden, but one of the questions to former gov/ambassador to China Branstad is about it. Branstad says he doesn’t know the details, criticizes media outlets for suppressing allegations when they didn’t do that with Trump allegations.

https://twitter.com/daveweigel/statu...36609322123264

ETA2: Ok, now Cotton does go there!
Quote:

“The Biden family is beginning to rival the Clinton family in being able to cash in on their name.” Cotton says Biden should clear up allegations “just as the president did on multiple occasions.”

“If he wins, it’s not going away.”

https://twitter.com/daveweigel/statu...38792675373058

ETA: this Politico article shows how MAGA world has failed with this October surprise.

Quote:

But with bits and pieces of the entire Hunter Biden narrative floating across the conservative mediasphere, few people on the right have been able to explain who, exactly, did what, on behalf of whom.

Last week, Sebastian Gorka, a former White House official and conservative radio host, asked Bannon on his radio show, when the bombshell was coming.

“Steve, I implore you, we are 15 days out from the election. When is the big shoe drop going to drop?” he asked.

At that point, though, the majority of the Hunter story had, in fact, already dropped.
(bolding mine)

Biden is making appearances in five states this week: Pennsylvania on Monday, Georgia yesterday, then Iowa, Wisconsin, and a couple stops in Florida. He's flying around the country and working on helping the down-ballot Democrats, but he has "car rallies" instead of coronavirus super-spreader events like Psychobozo. If you stay in your own car and listen to his speeches, you don't get -- or spread -- the virus.

Last night Psychobozo did a super-spreader in Omaha, and a bunch of senior citizens got hypothermia because of the poor organization of the event. Lots of them were taken to the hospital. Hay, he TOLD you that you'd get tired of winning! :D

Ok, so it's a common phrase in the finishing stretch to an election? Pardon my lack of knowledge in American parlance, I'm Sveeedish.

Context. Back in 'Ye Old Days' in rural areas that lacked proper theaters or arenas, performers would often rent out barns which in some areas were the largest buildings in town. So smaller acts and shows that toured mostly rural areas became known as "Barnstorming."

In politics it is sort of similar, making a lot of small stops in rural areas.

There's also a form of stunt flying called barnstorming because flying through a barn was one of the primary tricks.

Well yeah but that doesn't matter, or at least doesn't matter as much as it should.

This was a smear job, not an actual investigation. So no matter how much it gets disproven now the cult members will still believe it and at least some more mainstream voters now still have a mental connection between Biden and something shady.

Oh I'm confused. You all are talking like there are this things called "facts" that exist and make one person, how can I put this "more correct" than another person.

And that's just crazy talk. Total Looney Tunes.

Over on another board I read, there was some guy wondering why Biden holds small rallies rather than just posting videos from home. There's no way you can win with idiots like this. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

It's the inane "Republicans are (somehow) better for the environment because Al Gore doesn't live in a solar powered cardboard box" mentality.

Since the only thing Trumpers are interested in is "taking people down a peg" because the only sin they recognize is "not being as good as you think you are" having standards actually works against you.

You have to understand that in the Trump base's twisted mentality Trump not giving a crap about people dying and then holding superspreader events is okay but Biden actually caring about people and holding small, safer events that still has some risk is not because Biden has to be punished for the sin of actually having standards while Trump does not.

"Don't you dare have standards unless you are 100% perfect" has been a big subtext to Trump and his base for a while now. It's like a 3rd person version of Bobbing, the idea that standard aren't actually a thing you can really have and everyone who claims to have them is lying which manifests as a sort of "If you don't follow your standards 100% all the time, up to the point that you basically can't function, then you don't really have them and need to be mocked and punished for your hubris" mentality.

It seems that Hunter has a habit of dropping laptops off for repair, forgetting that he's done so, and buying a new one. And repair shop owners have a habit of searching through these laptops and then giving the contents to random people.

Thanks for being a lying idiot, Adam.

Why would anyone trust Tucker when Fox says you can not trust Tucker?

U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil wrote: "Fox persuasively argues, that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statement he makes."

And no where in there did I say it was true or anything, I quoted Giuliani, and said don't shoot the messenger. I repeatedly posted what the claims were and said as much.

What's amusing is you can't tell the difference between me posting what someone else is claiming, and what my claims are or aren't.

"LOL I was just............ *dramatic pause*..... *longer dramatic pause* ASKING QUESTIONS!" is going to be the excuse, hence the "Don't shoot the messenger" out they put in their original post.

Again this is a smear job, everyone is going to suggest a lot but very few people are going to go on record as saying anything.

Argumentative and intellectual cowardness. If you're going to accuse someone of something, own it.

Anyone who reads the post can see I was not "asking questions" I was posting what the claim was. Hence "Giuliani goes there" and "don't shoot the messenger."

I can't help it if you or anyone else has a comprehension problem, or are so desperate to smear people that you will insert words into other people's mouths.

I could play your game and ask you if you think Giuliani was lying, but that was certainly not the impression you gave when you "didn't 'make the claim' per se, just repeated the claim, defended the claim, and tried to mock anyone who disputed the claim."

I posted the claim, you can characterize it however you want. It's quite clear in the post that it was in no way my claim or that I thought it was true. Even going so far as to say "don't shoot the messenger." And yet that's exactly what is happening. Which only goes to show how clearly dishonest you and others here are. The mere fact that someone would declare I made a claim and provide a link that proves I made NO such claim, yet he and others try to spin it only makes them look foolish.

It really is strange with the current batch, they seem to only be able to accuse others of what they have or are doing and this video was a good example. Rudi’s comments about Steel himself were defamation.

This is a pitiful attempt to distract that a poster here attributed a position to me that I obviously never made. There are pages and pages of a discussion about the claims regarding the laptop.
