The Biden detractors here are making some of the most deeply dishonest arguments I've ever seen on this forum. ETA: But they aren't even arguments. Just a bunch of smears, sneers and jeers. |

I can leave a bodged-up computer at a repair place with a Nazi swastika on it and sign the receipt "Benito Stalin Hitler". In no way does that tie that machine to me, nor does it represent my political views. So if it contains kiddie-porn, does that mean one of those historical leaders is a rock-spider? Even if this mythical laptop was for some inexplicable reason left at some five-and-dime repair center a zillion miles from where it would be expected to be left, and somehow or other the owner left their private stash of drug-fueled home-movies on it easily accessible, this reeks of a kompromat set-up. But why go to all that expensive, risky bother. Rudi G has been trawling around Ukraine looking for just this sort of stuff for over a year. He has admitted as much. So just sell the fake kompromat straight to him in Kyiv for dollars, and then let him try to sell it to the US public. He is that stupid and mad. GRU is now millions richer in US dollars, Rudi is happy, and everyone waits for the laugh track to kick in. So you do understand? This was not aimed at Hunter Biden at all. It was aimed at Rudi, and indirectly it was telling Trump that he, too, can be exposed that easily by his moronic buddies. |
Things I've gathered up here:
1) Working for a company is bad. Even if HB did some work for CEFC it is absolutely a no issue. CEFC had tons of employees and no ones calling them out - not working would probably mean labeling HB as a deadbeat bum, but hey. 2)If a company employing you ends up doing something fishy later on, it's an obvious mark that everyone doing business with the said company is part of the fishy business - sorry all former CEFC employees. 3)Pictures that have someone that looks a bit like HB doing drugs are always real. I really can't say if some of the crack fotoes are of HB or someone else. First time I saw it I was like "That explains a ton about Dr. House" Not that it really even matters. Hunter Biden is not on the ballot. So the entire thing is just a pointless diversion and a desperate last minute attempt to stir up some scandal. Funniest stuff about this is the rabid Trump supporters doing the "worst crime ever/Obama/chyna"-routine. Even IF HB did some work for CEFC, in what way was that even remotely illegal in 2017? Is there anything except silly CTs and innuendoes? The origin of the laptop doesn't even matter, who cares if its a fake or real nothingburger. The entire discussion about it's origin is just a smokescreen and a diversion to cover up the fact that there is nothing of value here, just pointless stuff that amounts to absolutely nothing. |
imo the longer they keep pushing this instead of talking about something voters might actually care about the better

At this stage, entire thread belongs to conspiracy subforum section.

Anyway, the fact that the entire international community was complaining at the time that Shokin wasn't, coupled with his explicit stated refusal to do so. Thanks for playing. |

https://www.kyivpost.com/article/con...?cn-reloaded=1 "The PGO clarifies that the court satisfied the petition on February 2, 2016." This is just right before Biden has him fired. Also http://www.europeanukraine.org/home/...er-zlochevsky/ "The PGO reminded that on 25 December 2015, i.e. when the court passed on the decision on removal of arrest of Zlochevsky’s property, the prosecution authorities conducted a preliminary investigation and did not implement procedural guidance in the criminal proceedings due to the fact that the criminal proceedings were transferred to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. In connection with the passing of the law of Ukraine «On amendments to the criminal procedure code of Ukraine regarding criminal proceedings which are investigated by investigators of bodies of Prosecutor’s office» 27 January 2016 the criminal proceedings were returned for further pre-trial investigation and procedural guidance to the General Prosecutor of Ukraine." So action by Shokin stopped while it was turned over to NABU for a short period. That's about the extent of "not investigating," by all other accounts there was movement in the investigation and charges, going so far as to confiscate Zlochevsky’s property. I know you and everyone here will say, but, but, but, people said he wasn't doing anything, yet I just showed you he was. Then what happened, Zlochevsky returned to Ukraine in February 2018 after investigations into his Burisma Holdings had been completed in December 2017 with no charges filed against him. So they fired the guy who confiscated his property shortly before Biden got him fired and put in a guy who closed the investigation with no charges. |

But that would not have been handy to this weird and wonky tale, would it. ;) Quote:

From Feb 4, 2016 Check your dates, Shokin didn't do squat in 2018, I even quoted the relevant date which is mentioned in both articles, "The PGO clarifies that the court satisfied the petition on February 2, 2016." Now that we got that out of the way, it's clear there was an investigation given the contemporary article cited. So the investigation was ongoing, not before Hunter Joined the board as you incorrectly stated. Also, Shokin was appointed Prosecutor General of Ukraine on 10 February 2015. So basically your telling me Biden was asking for his removal for not investigating Burisma, even though he was, and he was doing it in 2015 while Shokin couldn't do anything regarding the Burisma investigation because criminal proceedings were transferred to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. "The PGO reminded that on 25 December 2015, i.e. when the court passed on the decision on removal of arrest of Zlochevsky’s property, the prosecution authorities conducted a preliminary investigation and did not implement procedural guidance in the criminal proceedings due to the fact that the criminal proceedings were transferred to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine." That lasted till "In connection with the passing of the law of Ukraine «On amendments to the criminal procedure code of Ukraine regarding criminal proceedings which are investigated by investigators of bodies of Prosecutor’s office» 27 January 2016 the criminal proceedings were returned for further pre-trial investigation" |

What's bizarre is your attempt to characterize it as if Hunter Biden would never be in Delaware, and your straw man that he wouldn't have went all that way JUST......... |
Why argue about it? It's turned out to be a non-event. If the story was going to get traction, it would have by now.

I'm not generally a fan of posters expressing their boredom. Why don't you find something to discuss that interests you? But it is "my" thread so wtf. There are many reasons to dismiss this crap. At least 16, maybe 17. |

Wait, of course you are. You seem to legitimately buy that Hunter would take important laptops to a shop thousands of miles away from his house that wasn't authorized to do the repairs. Gee, it's "only" 15 miles from his dad's house, maybe Hunter was just cruising around while staying overnight at Dad's place, and impulsively decided to stop at an unauthorized shop? Do you think he didn't want to go too far because he was borrowing Dad's car and didn't want to have to put gas in the tank? |

As for the rest, I think it's possible a crack addict did that, yes. |

Also London stopped the investigation before Shokin was even appointed. In January 2015, the Central Criminal Court in London released the $23 million that were blocked on accounts of Zlochevsky due to inadequate evidence. Shokin was appointed the next month. And within a month of NABU handing the investigation back to him in January 2016, Shokin seized Zlochevsky's assets in Ukraine. |

Maybe Borat could do a fake interview using his sexy 15 year old daughter disguised as a news reporter to try to do a hit piece on Hunter. I wonder why the age 15 was used? I wonder, Isn’t that the age most people use their virginity?

The whole story is just self-contradictory trash, with no basis in fact. The shop owner said he gave the hard drive to the FBI last year. He's lying, but even if he was telling the truth, the FBI (understandably) found it to be a nothingburger with nothingfries and a nothingdrink on the side.
But I understand why some people are desperate to try to manipulate the story so it appears to make some kind of sense. They just don't have anything real to smear Joe Biden with, and they NEED TO SMEAR JOE BIDEN. I give them an A for effort. And an F for any sort of grasp on reality. |

That's the kind of thing I do all the time. Don't you? The really stupid thing was the Russians using Giuliani for the fake smear. Didn't they understand how disreputable he's become? He's nothing but a blabbering, blubbering bobblehead now, that poor bunny. :D |
