Right. Well.

If I was God, I mean if I was a competent God rather than some blundering amateur, and I invented people, I would design them to be sufficiently capable of understanding clear instructions that, when I divinely inspired one of them to write my Big Book of Rules, not only would My book be absolutely, rigorously clear and logical, but everyone would understand exactly what I meant so there wouldn't be any stupid arguments about what My rules were.

An omnipotent, omniscient being wouldn't drop the ball on basic stuff like that.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

That's not the point.

The purpose of world life is that you can face yourself.

For understand why you're going to paradise or hell.

And for live some petty penalties or rewards in this universe.

Do we have anyone here skilled at translating gibberish?

Don't get to comfortable with the delusion you are going to paradise just because you believe in the Quran. Surah 19.71 says that everyone will go to hell, You will only be rescued from hell if you kept from evil.

There are Three times prayers/salaat in a day.

The Qur'an tells all the details of the salaat.

http://www.quran-islam.org/main_topics/islam/pillars/al-salat_(P1192).html

The real Injil and the real Torah had this information. But in the fake Injils and Torah, this information was extracted and forgotten.

There's crumbs left.

Daniel 6;10

Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

30- He made the earth egg-shaped
(79- The Snatchers, 30)

http://www.burkemuseum.org/static/earthquakes/bigone/science.html

In times of the caliph Bolud el Cotur, the Islamic scholar Peladín al Pedalín found that to be entirely wrong.

The Quran warns everybody about paying attention to people like you, the ones who recommend to have an ashtray in your motorbike.

Quran says Earth is egg/sphere shaped.

An egg is not a sphere. The Earth is not a sphere. Each of them is distorted in a different way. Specifically, the Earth is distorted from a purely spherical shape in exactly the opposite way that an egg is. I mean, if you're going to pick nits, pick them all.

If an excuse is necessary, like the limitations of the time, place and language the Quran was written, then it may say "the Earth is shaped like an onion", but never and egg.

I suppose the "egg" to be an allegory, like everything in holy books, but Emre is deliberately fighting that approach (I think he does it with the end of tarnish Islam).

The bummer thing is that lots of eggs are round, or at least as round as the earth is.

Owls.

Our correspondent should have gone for owls and not ostrich.

Should have asked a Christian.

It might not be your point, but it certainly is a point. Much of this thread is squabbling about what the Quran either does or doesn't say. And that pales into insignificance compared to how your personal view of Islam differs from the other billion Muslims.

Does your God send people to hell for failing to understand His rules because they're so badly written?

Is that how a perfect and just being acts?

Sounds like an incompetent to me.

The beauty of realising that all that heaven and hell stuff is just made-up fairy tales is that you simply don't have to worry about it at all. Imagine that for a moment.

Hogwash.
How does unquestioning obedience to the arbitrary laws of a cruel, misogynistic and apparently undetectable sky-dwelling tyrant help me in any way to face myself?
Whoever and whatever I am is of absolutely no consequence to your god. The only thing he cares about is my subservience.

And, what kind of person finds no better way to say something after 11 years?

(Emre is not happy with his view count there -3,254 in 11 years- because he/she/o thinks view count in vBulletin is real public :D)

I'm pretty sure I've had more than that looking at me rebuilding my house in 3 years. 3454 in 11 years is 295 per year, or fewer than 6 per week..............and that figure includes Imre himself!! Wow.

18,754 in three years, and that in the private part of this forum so no search engine nor non-members have ever took a look to your thread, otherwise it'd be more in the 75/150 thousand figure as it happens with most public thread with 64 pages.

For instance, this thread is above the 10,000 views. It means probably 100 members and another 100 non-members have ever took a look to it, and most of them find it unappealing and went away. That's the way most forums work in spite of the fantasies people like Emre create [I own a licence of vBulletin and have installed and run it on a server, doing a lot of tests with a bunch of people, including setting the view count to instant update -extremely resource consuming, not recommended- and checking how it incremented madly just for navigating the thread]

More cranky nonsense to justify what the Quran says about Mary. However Jesus was conceived, the Quran says Jesus was not the son of God, and more to the point it says he was not crucified.

Since all four books of the disciples in the new testament give lucid accounts of the crucifixion the Quran is saying the bible is largely fabricated.

I can see why we had the crusades. Medieval monks must have been pissed to read the Quran, and must have regarded it as absolute blasphemy.

So, besides your narcissistic nature, you have nothing to back your claim.

As we like to say here, Xians, Jews and Muslims: "yes, famous at the time of dinner at his home"

If you're looking for fame, I suggest you to apply for Big Brother.

Lie. That video is a string of photos with a few captions.

Today I learned having a friend create a "Ken Burns Effect" video of one of your rants gives it INSTANT credibility and counts as being cited by a respected source!
