I came across this website called 9/11 Truth Action Project (911 TAP), which had an interesting article, "911 TAP's 2018 Vigils For Justice".

It's obvious, interest in the Truth is growing at an unprecedented rate! Millions dozens of free thinkers are on the move to Woke us up!

I just thought you all would appreciate these images of a vibrant, growing, engaged Truther Community.

Hold the phone,.... Is there a dude in the Tampa group holding a sign that says "Trump for Truth" as if those are words that go together???

Trump did get a visible portion of the crackpot Truther vote in 2016. But the dude you point out is the only MAGA-type in the pictures. Read the rest of the signs, and it's not hard to see that most of these die-hards are aging peaceniks from the Vietnam era.

BTW, am I the only one seeing the obvious Photoshop with the Tempe one?

Crackpots.

They've already convinced themselves of the "truth", it's in their back pocket of course. Why the fake call for "investigation"? Who's gonna do the investigating and why would they trust them to?

I can't see it and I've been using Photoshop since the 90s. I'm not even sure what it is that you might be (mis)interpreting as Photoshopping. Are you referring to one or more possible head swaps? Or are you implying that the three people are superimposed over the background? If so, the person on the right seems to be casting shadows on the flag and on the background's, well, ground. I took a closer look at it in Photoshop and I don't see any of the usual telltale sloppiness & fuzziness that comes with amateur-level image manipulation. Some of the shadows look a little weird but you can't deduce much from that without knowing anything about the light sources involved. Seems more likely that one or more light sources so heavily illuminate the foreground that it makes the foreground elements seem oddly disconnected from the background, but that's not unusual when you're dealing with artificial lighting & digital photography. There are other telltale indications that the image wasn't tampered with in any meaningful way, but I'm already starting to bore myself.

And anyway, what would be the point of photoshopping the image in question? It's three people holding a sign against a background of a flag and other 9-11 signs/banners. It's a picture that could've been taken anywhere. How is that in any way impressive or meaningful to anyone except the three people in the photo and/or the photographer? All of the photos seen in the OP are notable for capturing a pathetically feeble turnout. If someone manipulated the image to make the event more impressive than it actually was, then they're doing it wrong.

I will accept that you are right; it just looked to me like the guy photoshopped in the sign and the AE911T graphics. It's a weird photo--the dropped tile ceiling in the background indicates it was shot indoors, unlike all the other photos. But at the far top right there appears to be some vegetation, both behind the flag and to the right of it. Also, what is that white rail-like thing at the far left? It looks like a hand rail, or a guard rail as are sometimes put in place where there is floor to ceiling glass?

...

Ah yes, those saints of 911TAP! I have to hand them one thing: They are perfectly honest and open and do not fail to report all their failed actions!

They have a thing they call the 911TAP Petition Project. It was announced in December 2016 (though actually started a little bit earlier) with this article:

The 9/11 TAP Petition Project - Written by David A. Fura, Ph.D., 9/11 Truth Action Project Staff
David Fura said:
You approach the square and face the typical gaggle of clipboard-waving petition gatherers. ... What the heck? Isn't 9/11 part of ancient history by now? ... Later that night you find the website on the brochure you were given. Again, what the heck? The petition has 2.3 million signers. ...

Aside from the 2.3 million (not projected in 2017), this is the fate awaiting thousands of Americans next year as the 911TAP Petition Project enters full swing. This multi-purpose project is a cornerstone of the 9/11 Truth Action Project's top-level goal of achieving an independent, comprehensive investigation of 9/11. The project has a four-year lifespan with a million-plus signer target by the end of year 2020. A number of enabling objectives need to be met to achieve this target, but none are more important right now than the First Wave objective of 32,000 signers in calendar year 2017. Nothing is more important to 911TAP right now than convincing you to help achieve 32,000. Will you be a First Wave petition signer? Will you help recruit others to join the First Wave?

So this establishes that 911TAP had, by December 2016, specified verifiable targets:
  • 32,000 signatures by the end of 2017
  • 1 million signatures by the end of 2020
  • Several millions eventually

(In their Quarterly Progress Report (2018 Q2)), they revealed that there also exists a target for the second year: 160,000 by the end of 2018)

This ties into their Strategic Plan - November 2016, also by David Fura:
David Fura said:
The 911TAP Petition Project is intended to be a catalyst for lifting the 9/11 Truth movement out of its current state of decentralized individual actions into a focused, unified movement. Surveys consistently show that, thanks to the work of 9/11 activists since 2001, tens of millions of U.S. citizens already know the truth about 9/11.
...
The count of signed petitions gathered under this effort will be prominently displayed on the 911TAP website. A rapidly increasing number would serve as a motivational boost to the 9/11 Truth movement, increasing our confidence and encouraging people to work harder.

Let this sink in.

"A rapidly increasing number would serve as a motivational boost to the 9/11 Truth movement"

They are currently 1 year and 9.5 months into their 4-year Petition Project, and have, as of today, 3,572 signatures.
That's almost 45% of the time elapsed, 0.36% of target reached.

Whoops!!

Here is how they have fared so far, month by month - with scales chosen to accomodate the actual numbers:

[IMGW=600]http://maraite.net/images/9-11/TruthActionProject/TAP911_Petition_20181015.gif[/IMGW]

As you see, there is a downward trend in the signatures "per day" department. The running 4-months average started out above 10/day, then hovered between 6 and 4/day for a while, and has stayed below 4/day for most of the last 9 months. But they expected to gain momentum, not lose any:
1st year: 32,000
2nd year: +128,000
3rd+4th year: +420,000 per year
They started 2017 with 240 signatures already in on January 1st.
To get to the first-year target of 32,000, they would have needed to average 87/day.
Assuming exponential growth, they would have needed a growth rate of 13,333%. That would have translated to 4.0/day in January 2017, 5.8/day in February, ..., 30/day in June, ...103/day in September, ... 352/day in December.
Hahaha they actually had 19.7 in January, 8.9/day in February, ..., 8.1/day in June, ...1.9/day in September, ... 3.4/day in December.

Let's show their 2017 performance scaled to target 32,000 total signatures, 320/day (that's a little below the required December rate):

[IMGW=600]http://maraite.net/images/9-11/TruthActionProject/TAP911_Petition_ScaledTo32000_20181015.gif[/IMGW]
Since early summer 2017, reality has been decoupled from their dreams.

They did Quarterly Reports - you will not find any confession that they are catastrophically failing all their targets!
2017 Q2
2017 Q3
2017 Q4
2018 Q1
2018 Q2
2018 Q3 isn't out yet

As you can see, they are very commendably presenting lots of numbers. Faithfully documenting how poorly almost all states are doing.

We are deep into the 2nd year, so let's review how actual numbers compare with dream numbers:
In order to move from 32,000 (1st year target) 160,000 (2nd year target) would require an average of about 350/day, or an exponential growth rate of 500% annually (i.o.w. number of signatures multiplied by 5 within the year).
That computes to 151/day in January 2018, 504/day in October 2018, 659/day in December 2018.
They actually got 0.6/day in January, and so far 1.4/day in October.

In graphics - scaled to 2nd year targets:

[IMGW=600]http://maraite.net/images/9-11/TruthActionProject/TAP911_Petition_ScaledTo160000_20181015.gif[/IMGW]

They are barely off the ground, compared to their dreams.

Finally, let's scale their endeavour to the final 4 year target of 1 million (assuming approx. 250% annual growth rate, the last month, December 2020, would need to get 2412/day):

[IMGW=600]http://maraite.net/images/9-11/TruthActionProject/TAP911_Petition_ScaledTo1Million_20181015.gif[/IMGW]

Wow. That's a flatline.

Now, in their Quarterly Reports, they break down the numbers by State! I looked up the population of each US state, and of the USA as a whole, and computed how many signatures they got by June 30th, 2018, per 1 million inhabitants:

[IMGW=600]http://maraite.net/images/9-11/TruthActionProject/TAP911_Petition_SigsPer1MioPop_20180630.gif[/IMGW]

Now that's a clear message: 911TAP Oregon (David Fura's home state!) is outerforming every other state by leaps and bounds! OR is 15 times as good as the second best 911TAP State (NY), and 25 times as successful as the other 49 States.

Had everything gone according to plan, 32,000 after one year, and growing exponentionally towards 160,000 in 2018, then they would have had 71,000 signatures total by the end of Q2/2018. That's 218 out of 1 million US inhabitants - so 911TAP Oregon was actually ahead of the projected path at that time!

But as I said earlier: They would need about 500 signatures per day (per day!) on average each day this October. Oregon's population is 1.27% of the US population, so Oregon should contribute 6.4/day, or should have contributed about 90 in the first two weeks of October.

David Fura is a nice chap, open and transparent about his activities. Check out his most recent Facebook entry:

October 7th - "911TAP Truth Table global debut!!!"

That's a repost from the "Oregon 9/11 Truth Action Project" Facebook page
David Fura said:
Had a good day in Portland ... a good day overall--14 911TAP petitions signed

That was on October 6th.

So far in October, they have added 20 signatures, from all over the USA and the world.
That includes the 14 from Portland on the 6th.

Previously, David had faithfully reported on their efforts to raise signatures at street fairs on
  • September 9th: "Had another great street fair experience today at the Belmont Street Fair. John Shuck and I collected 47 911TAP signatures..." - out of 125 total worldwide in September
  • August 11th: "Had a really good day at the Alberta Street Fair today. Almost 40 petition signers" (actually: 38) - out of 51 total worldwide in August.

David Fura is going to fairs in and around Portland about once a month, where and when he manages to coerce under 50 signatures per event. He and his Oregon team do not collect more per month.

So by now, 911TAP Oregon is falling behind targets. Badly.

But they are the only 911TAP team that is at all active and collecting signatures!

The 911TAP Petition Project has collapsed!

I am looking forward to their next Quarterly Report, for Q3/2018. It was a complete desaster.

Remember the Strategic Plan?

"A rapidly increasing number would serve as a motivational boost to the 9/11 Truth movement"

But what about numbers that just don't get off the ground?
What about the simple fact that they are getting way fewer signatures per day or month in 2018 than the year before - rather than 4 times as many?
(Jan-Sep 2017: 218/month on average; Jan-Sep 2018: 91/month on average)

911TAP does us a great service: They document with great faith and transparency the utter impotence and tininess of the 9/11 Truth Movement in 2018.
