This edition was published more than ten years after it was determined that the crashes were caused by fatigue cracks coming off the sharp corners of the windows. DeHaviland changed to round windows and there were no more "UFO shootdowns." However, the book wasn't updated. Forty-five years later I've stopped being surprised because they are NEVER updated. The same crap keeps getting published, long after it was debunked.
