Apollo "hoax" poll - all forum participants invited

Do you agree with FatFreddy88's claims that Apollo was a hoax?

  • I am an active hoax thread participant, and I agree with FatFreddy88; Apollo was a fake.

    Votes: 0 0.0%

  • Total voters
    301
It's all part of the conspiracy. I can't vote again and my vote isn't counted.
I think your vote is counted, but your name is not listed. The number of names listed for option 4 is 183, but the total shown voting for that option is 185. Tricky explained that's all he could do; I think both he and another mod did the adjustment for MRC_Hans, which had the effect of accounting for you too.

Although probably a good thing as I misread number 3 so number 4 should have been my vote!

At least the total for option 3 is correct now. :)

#4. I have an inside angle to it all as my father and his team designed the computer systems for the Apollo Rocket launches. Dad was with Boeing attached to NASA for the duration. He's even got plaques signed by Nixon...

I double-dog dare anybody to go up to my 79 year old father and say that we never landed on the moon. :D

Wait, not even the Holocaust deniers will vote for fatfreddy? Damn talk about hitting bottom

Would this be more or less risky than trying the same thing with Buzz...?

Right along the same lines... Dad works out and walks up to 5 miles a day. He recently was selected to be in a low-T study, but was ultimately rejected for it because he hasn't lost enough testosterone over the years to qualify for the study. A burglar broke into his house two years ago and Dad walked in on him. Dad beat the crap out of the guy with his walking stick before the guy pushed Dad down in the front yard, jumped in his truck and took off. We were not amused that Dad had taken the guy on, but that's Dad for ya...

FatFreddy88/DavidC/rocky, this week you said
...I don't think many of the viewers are fooled.

I did the work for you to verify your claim by setting up this poll. About 40 regular hoax thread participants have responded, and they unanimously hold that you are wrong.

Two hundred "viewers" have responded, and every one of them says you are wrong. What does that tell you? Will you think for once, and question your convictions? You are manifestly wrong in your premise that there was a silent majority of Apollo disbelievers backing you up. (Any claims that the respondents are sock-puppets, government agents, liars, etc. will be disregarded unless you provide explicit evidence for same.) What does that tell you about the rest of your convictions, especially when experts continually tell you that you are wrong?

Are you afraid to confront the truth? It takes a big man to admit he's wrong when he's invested himself so heavily in a premise. You may rest assured that no one would think the less of you for being able to question your beliefs, and change them when appropriate.

I knew this to be true before the poll, but was actually surprised that everyone disagrees with him.

There may be hope for rationality after all. :)

I'm baffled why Freddy hasn't voted to at least break the shutout.

Because if he votes it (sort of) legitimises the poll from his point of view.

Oh, and speaking as a man too scared to visit the conspiricy forums for fear of being infected with the stupid, I'd also like to send my admiration to those brave enough to do so.

243 - 1.

Ok, who voted that they agree with freddy??

The above is a reasonable question, given freddy's "history" of sock puppets on other boards.

That's it? Not even an attempt to tell us all why you agree with freddy?

edit to add....oh, I see....nevermind. :)

Well, AL has made all sorts of hoax claims in the course of his trolling, so I thought he would put in a vote.

And there are a number of people in the conspiracy forums who are deny the Holocaust happened, or believe that the government faked aircraft crashes with cruise missiles or holograms and used thermite or fusion bombs to destroy various World Trade Center buildings while blaming it on foreign terrorists. I really figured someone with such non-mainstream views would also think Apollo was a hoax and vote accordingly.

But FatFreddy88/DavidC/rocky hasn't even voted for himself. Personally - I'm an aerospace engineer, not a psychologist - I don't think he can bring himself to face participation in a poll which proves him so badly wrong. But I remain prepared to be pleasantly surprised.

I think R.A.F. thought at first that my response was an admission that it was my vote and a cryptic response.

Then they realised I was telling them the name of the member who made the vote.

Yeah, but I've never known 16.5 to be a CTer.

....yeah...you are correct...I had completely forgotton about being able to identify "who voted what" in a poll thread...I figured it out eventually...sorry for the confusion. :)

Haven't seen him for a while. Or did I put him on ignore? I forget...

But FatFreddy88/DavidC/rocky hasn't even voted for himself.

His voting in the poll would validate it. As you say, far better to boycott the poll on the imaginary grounds that it's somehow compromised, rigged, or flooded with sock puppets.

He has gone AWOL this last couple of weeks, I suspect because people stopped replying to him, and he found himself talking to himself.

Lack of attention=Troll death.

Were he still participating, some variant of that would be a new thread.

Wonder how he would react to the same "outcome" on the spurs forum. Would he simply respond as he did here.

He doesn't seem to take defeat very well.

..and why the "spurs" site....or is it just the obvious...they ignore him and allow him to post whatever he wants?

At 257-1, we are now approaching a sample size of 1% of the forum's population (29,474 as I type). Self-selected, but all real individuals.

Rocky/David/FF88, you said all these people would support you. Only one has so far. What does that tell you about your confident assertions about Apollo? These are real people, voting their actual beliefs. Why can't you face the fact they just don't agree with you? What are you afraid of? You call yourself a truth-seeker. Well, don't run away from the truth of this poll. Think.

I'm a "soft 2" because even though my raison d'etre is debunking moon hoax nonsense, I don't really bother at JREF. Patrick and DavidC merit zero of my attention.

I voted #2.

I didn't contribute much to the thread but did participate if only in a small way and followed the thread every time I logged on (and I still do so).

270-1, and Fatfreddy88 is still pretending there's some magic audience that agrees with him.
