It's hard to convey emotion with numbers and this is a very emotional time, so I will say this. There was no dawn this morning. The smoke was too thick to see anything but a dim diffuse red glow. I haven't set foot outside my house and I'm coughing like I'm still a smoker. The smell is in everything.
I feel like I need to get the hell somewhere else, but there's no-where to go. I'm just trying to not breathe.
