The knock on effects of road closures, businesses and homes burning down, distortion to the economies and people moving out permanently will be huge on a lot of small communities that weren't that resilient to start with.

The most unfair part of this is the other species that are affected. They had no part in creating this disaster but will by far suffer the most from it.
Oh yes, I understand this. I still think that some people will use every opportunity to capitalise.

Nothing anyone can do about this, but annoying none the less.
