The issue of gun violence (and accidental discharges) is at the very heart of this debate, so no, that's not off limits and I'm not going to spot you points to make it easier. And in this case, he lost his own kid. But the kid could have easily killed someone else, like your kid, or your wife, or your mother. Again, you're trying to make them magically disappear. We were talking about a workable solution. Accidents happen, I'm not trying to make light of this but on the same note we could bring up hundreds of ways people get killed that we also have no real way to control. You keep trying to make this emotional, I'm trying to discuss a practical solution.
