A Fremont resident has been indicted on first-degree felony rape and aggravated robbery charges in Hancock County, Ohio after police allege she raped a taxi driver during a robbery.

According to Findlay police, Brittany S. Carter, 23, entered a taxi around 4:24 a.m. on Jan. 28 with Cory L. Jackson, 20, of Lima, who held a knife at the male cab driver while Carter performed a sex act on him...

$32? That's what they took?

Hell, the last time I had some guy with a knife at my throat and a chick raping me, it cost $250. In advance.

"We don't know why she did it," Findlay Detective Lt. Robert Ring said Friday of the sexual act. "Maybe it was a distraction because they took money from him."

Ring said Carter and Jackson took $32 from the driver's pocket and left the scene....

$32 for a hummer? Not bad.

So if the sex act was her giving him oral sex, is it rape, under the Justice dept's definition?

"The penetration, no matter how slight, of the vagina or anus with any body part or object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim."

It appears not.

But by Ohio law it is.

(2) No person shall engage in sexual conduct with another when the offender purposely compels the other person to submit by force or threat of force...Whoever violates this section is guilty of rape, a felony of the first degree.

Except it doesn't define "sex act."

This signature is intended to irritate people.

"Sexual conduct" means vaginal intercourse between a male and female; anal intercourse, fellatio, and cunnilingus between persons regardless of sex; and, without privilege to do so, the insertion, however slight, of any part of the body or any instrument, apparatus, or other object into the vaginal or anal opening of another. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient to complete vaginal or anal intercourse.

I hope she swallows her pride and comes clean. Otherwise it will get messy.

I read about this, and I'll wager the robbery was her motive, and the sex act was designed to make the cabby too embarrassed to come forward and tell the cops. Thankfully, he was brave enough to do so anyway.

Anyone got any more hilarious rape jokes? :(
Ha ha ha it's funny 'cause a man got raped.
I believe you can joke about anything, as long as no one is hurt, and the intent is clearly not to do harm. And in this case, I think the situation clearly calls for mirth.

By the way, remember the DoI's rights to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness? (And I'm not, err, JAQing.) It just so happens that, factually, of the top ten words ranked by one fairly decent study as the "happiest" in the English language, five (5), fully half, are variations on the noun and/or verb "laugh." I take my rights seriously.;)

I'm afraid everything and anything is a legitimate target for humour. There are no exceptions.

Notice that George Carlin's example in that argument is joke about a "rape" involving two imaginary cartoon characters, not making fun of an actual victim of an actual sexual assault. It's a very important distinction, one you seem to have missed.

There's more to the link; guess not your brand of humor; to each his own, of course.

No one here made fun of the victim; the perp, yes. There is a very small -- and therefore acceptable -- probability the victim is even aware of this forum or the comments on it. No one is harmed; there is no intent of harm. Nothing to see here... except stiffs going on about stiffs while flashing hard... glances.

Finding the incident funny is making fun of the victim.

Perhaps this should be continued in another thread.

Are we certain he is a victim? Has she confessed or been found guilty? Is it plausible that the circumstances are not as are being assumed as accurate from his complaint?

Or like many rapes it was to humiliate and dominate the other person because they can. It might have made her feel powerful and she enjoys the suffering of others. In other words, it might not have anything to do with the robbery in and of itself other than they both spring from the same evil impulses.

I'd turn this on its head, and say we shouldn't be making jokes because we can't assume his complaint isn't accurate.

Yes, that's entirely possible too.

Is it bad to say that I wouldn't be too upset if a reasonably attractive woman gave me a bj and then stole $32 from me?
