Scaramucci accuses Priebus of leaking Scara's financial disclosure

I don't think Trump was involved in this decision. I think it was 100% Kelly.

I am pretty sure Kelly had to get Donnie to sign off on taking the baseball bat to Mooch.
IMHO Donnie probably disliked Mooch getting all the publicity . No one takes away from Trump's press and lives.....
One speculation is that Mooch was brought in to force Spicer and Preibus out,and outlived his usefulness.

Is this a record for a high ranking White House staffer?

It sure shows how well that loyalty thing works.

I understand his official appointment date was to be August 15, although he clearly had begun working in his office. So he was fired even before he was hired. That has to be a record!

The news report I read indicated that the Trump family pushed to get the Mooch hired, then soured on him after his obscene tirades, Trump liked the obscene tirades, but was convinced the Mooch had become a liability. Kelly has quite a job ahead of him- I can only assume that he believes Trump will support him in his endeavors. Sure, for at least the next day or two...

What's funny is that 'The Mooch' (wrt the Ryan Lizza article) didn't consider that maybe someone working at the restaurant might have supplied Ryan Lizza with information about the dinner and not some one at the WH.

Just curious, but on what do you base this? Scaramucci told everyone (and the White House assented by not contradicting) that his position reported directly to the POTUS, not the Chief.

MSM report that this was Kelly's opening gambit. Just demand that the clown goes, or he goes.

Ya think the honeymoon the press has had with Huckabee-Sanders is going to wear off? They all preferred her style to Spicer's so gave her an easy ride, but now that she's blatantly spin-doctoring her way through press briefings, will they take off at least one of the kid(rock) gloves? "Anthony felt it was best to leave now to give General Kelly a clean slate."

Sure he did, Sarah. That's why in the releases of the same date, it says that Kelly "broke it to Scaramouche, personally". (Her other ridiculous spin yesterday was that the Kleptocrat in Chief was joking when he talked about roughing up suspects. Sarah and Sean and Kellyanne: WE DON'T CARE. The fact that he or that crowd would think that was entertaining says enough. He said it, he enjoyed saying it, he assumed his devoted minions would like it and they did. He's a repulsive person.)

Anyhow... back to the eulogies for Scaramucci.

I'm broken-hearted. I was looking forward to at least the summer months of entertainment. The only person in the country who's got less self-control and a fouler mouth than the Perp in the Oval Office. This was going to be heaven. Do you think reporters in NYC are lining up to buy him drinks to get the first interview?

I can't imagine he'd be willing to compromise his integrity and start telling tales out of school just for free booze.

...

...

A sad day for late night comedy, and...

Scaramucci fired by John Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general? Reminds me of a comment Frank Costanza once made.

"Jerry, this guy, this is not my kind of guy."

;)

Maybe 'the Mooch' and 'Spicy' can go on tour together and make a few bucks off of their bit of fame in the same way that Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth did after they got booted from Van Halen.

They could call their new group something like 'The X-Communicators'.

I've just been referring to the duo as Scary Spice, in my head. But that's too obvious.

And too likely to get their asses sued. :D
