Student Climate Strike

So the climate strike has started. I reckon there's a couple of thousand in Garema Place right now. This is the view from my office window (which doesn't have a great view) a few minutes ago:

Shooting at Christchurch Mosque

The rallies have been evacuated across Christchurch. No reports yet about casualties.

Any other day this would have been the lead story along with Trump tweeting he was going to veto Congress rejecting his Emergency, but......

Yeah, I was happily watching out the window, thinking at last that the future might be in good hands, when the news started to come in.

Seems like the marches are much bigger in the EU and India than the gatherings here in the US. Maybe we need more time in the US for the ball to start rolling. But a fair number of kids did walk out of high schools in Seattle.
