Just to put data to the claim, in Sweden the Greens shrunk from 15.41% in the previous parliament to 11.62% in the current one. While Greens in the whole EU parliament have risen from 6.66% to 9.85%.

The difference is that you are expressly denying that doctors were the ones who gave Thunberg her diagnosis, as opposed to her parents.

Why do you hate Greta Thunberg so much? Or her parents or whatever? Is it because people are paying attention to her and not to you? Maybe we can analyse this some more.

BTW, which book was it? Was it the one that collected the speeches she has given? I find it rather wonderful that speeches by a 16 year old girl are being preserved for posterity.

Come on, one of two Swedes posting here, answer my question. The other one will just scream "Putin!" again, so it's on you to represent your country in a responsible way.

If you look at Swedish general elections you will see that the % of votes for the Greens has been falling since 2010.

Since Greta has only been in the news for the past year I doubt it has anything whatsoever to do with her. Unless she began her protesting when she was 6 or 7.

This is something you could have looked up yourself, but decided to sow your usual nonsense.

So? Other than demonstrating you don't understand the complexities of Swedish politics, what is this supposed to mean?

German and other Greens had hard times as well. But with Greta they shined in 2019. The Swedish Greens failed. Like your deflection.

This is not the same trajectory the Swedish greens have taken.

No it was a little booklet. Not even value for money considering how little is in it. (2.99).

I love Greta. I think she's great. However, I hate that she is being exploited by pushy parents.

The Finnish Greens did stormingly well (Haavisto) and now have seats in the government. Finland is the first country in the world to commit to neutral CO2 emissions by 2035. (Although the UK tried to claim it was the first.)

Second only to the SDP.

What went wrong in Sweden?

I don't have one, just as you don't have one of her parents diagnosing her.

However, I live in Sweden, and people don't get diagnosed with Aspergers without a doctor doing it.

Evidence?

Eh, no. He's making stuff up to suit his views and audience.
Rather like you.

So?
From Greta's mum, Malena's own mouth:

Quote:
She attributes her persistence to Asperger's syndrome. Without Asperger, none of this would have been possible, she told Germany's ZDF TV broadcaster in February. "I would simply have continued to live and think like everyone else," she said, adding that she sees the world from a different perspective black and white. That doesn't necessarily make it more radical, she says, but it definitely makes it more realistic.

That led her mother to conclude, in the book, that Asperger and ADHD as such are "not a handicap" as much as a "superpower."
It was Malena who told the world Greta had 'Asperger's' and was diagnosed 'four year's ago', together with OCD and selective mutism.

Can't really haul Andrew Bolt over the coals when he repeats the same information and comes to a similar conclusion.

It is still completely your fault that this thread exists, and being rude to Vixen again doesn't make you look any better. In fact I doubt that anyone here doesn't think you acted like a person that would make Greta cry.

Can't really haul Andrew Bolt over the coals when he repeats the same information and comes to a similar conclusion.
What the hell are you talking about now?

A doctor diagnoses the girl with being on the autism spectrum, specifically Aspergers, and her mother puts a positive spin on it, saying that she believes that Greta makes it not a handicap but a strength. This all makes Greta's mother evil because...

Are you from planet earth? I ask because you don't seem to grasp how humans work.

It doesn't make me look any worse.

In fact I doubt that anyone here doesn't think you acted like a person that would make Greta cry.
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

Which is two data points, so I added in the fact that Sweden's Green Party has been dropping in national elections since 2010.

And I then pointed out that the French Greens pretty much halved between the same two Euro elections, far worse than their Swedish counterparts.

So your two data points don't seem to point at anything to do with Ms Thunberg.

So maybe it's you who should be focusing on something other than your tunnel-visioned nonsense.

I doubt there's any connection.

Unless you come up with a propsed link, it doesn't make you evil, but possibly showing the sort of thinking that leads to conspiracy theories, seeing connections where none exist.

That does not support your claims about self-diagnosis.

Except he doesn't. And he engages in deliberate denigration.
