It's better than Hitlary.
It's not, actually. "Hitlary" is at least a decent pun.
It's better than Hitlary.
I think that's a misrepresentation of the people who turned on Obama by 2010.
People decided, rightly or wrongly, he wasn't even trying, and that his 2007/2008 campaign was a gimmick. It was an act.
This (from 2012) accurately reflects their perception:

And during the health care reform debate, he was beyond dismissive of his former base:

He ran a populist campaign based on "hope" and "change," never specifying what should be changed or hoped for and leaving it to his supporters to fill in the blanks for themselves. Turned out a lot of them were hoping for more change than he delivered. Those same people may well have voted for Trump to make America "great again," for exactly the same reason.I'm confused. Did anyone who supported him actually get the impression that Obama was some kind of socialist who'd seize the means of production and lock up the hated fat cat bankers and CEOs behind all of Americas woes?
She is yesterday's person, sure these old timers can produce a few good quotes from time to time but they no longer can be considered to represent anyone but themselves. And to be blunt, she couldn't even beat Trump!I read the linked article and updated my post with more detailed information.
I get that Hillary Clinton will never be president, but what's the deal with putting her on a political ice floe? Do you really believe that now she's lost her last presidential election, her opinions and insights on politics in America no longer matter? That she no longer has anything of value or significance to say on that subject?
Exactly the logic used to convince Obama not to speak out against Trump as a Russian asset. In fact, by not simply ignoring Tulsi, she's playing into their hands by inflating their importance and giving them more attention than they could on their own.
[...] Whatever the case, the sample lady had apparently offered the failed presidential candidate a small paper cup of orange juice and told her the packs were on sale for $9.49 when the incident occurred.
"Orange... orange like Trump!" Clinton screamed suddenly, frightening the poor food demonstration worker. "You're in league with him, aren't you!?" The failed presidential candidate lunged across the cart and attempted to pull off her face mask, certain the lady was actually Vladimir Putin in a skin suit.
When that failed and the woman shooed her off with a plastic glove, Clinton turned for help and began screaming, "Security! Margaret in the frozen foods aisle is a Russian asset! Help, help, our elections are being meddled with!"
Guards arrived but relaxed when they saw it was just Hillary Clinton. "OK, lady, let's go," they said, grabbing her by each arm.
"Thank goodness you're here!" Clinton cried. "Arrest that woman! Can't someone help me out!?"
"Oh yeah, sure, lady, we'll help you out," the guards said, snickering as they dragged her toward the front door.
According to sources at the Costco, this is the third time this has happened this week.
The 68-year-old white supremacist and former GOP Louisiana state senator plastered a banner on his Twitter page prominently featuring a photograph of the Hawaiian lawmaker, the New York Post reported. “Tulsi Gabbard is currently the only Presidential candidate who doesn’t want to send White children off to die for Israel,” the former Grand Wizard tweeted to his more than 50,000 followers along with a photograph of Gabbard meeting a US service member and his child. Hillary Clinton says she believes that the Russians have "got their eye on somebody who's currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate." In a recent interview, Clinton didn't mention Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii by name, but said she believes one candidate is "the favorite of the Russians." Link
As she injects chaos into the 2020 Democratic primary by accusing her own party of “rigging” the election, an array of alt-right internet stars, white nationalists and Russians have praised her.
Stephen K. Bannon, President Trump’s former chief strategist, is impressed with her political talent. Richard B. Spencer, the white nationalist leader, says he could vote for her. Former Representative Ron Paul praises her “libertarian instincts,” while Franklin Graham, the influential evangelist, finds her “refreshing.” And far-right conspiracy theorists like Mike Cernovich see a certain MAGA sais quoi. “She’s got a good energy, a good vibe. You feel like this is just a serious person,” Mr. Cernovich said. “She seems very Trumpian.” Link
"They know they can't win without a third-party candidate, and so I do not know who it's going to be, but I can guarantee you they will have a vigorous third-party challenge in the key states that they most need it."
I've suspected the same thing for a long time.
That Moscow is "grooming" Gabbard and she's a Russian "asset"?
She might not be aware or she might not mind their support as long as it helps her - politicians have the habit to assume that what's good for them is good for everyone.
I think this is the most overblown comment anyone has made in weeks. I just saw an article that suggested Hillary's comments would drive voters to Trump. I think that is absurd.
I dunno. When Team Blue looks crazy, it makes Team Red look relatively less crazy than before.
Even if its the guy on the bench who's never going to get into the game? The election is still a year away and I very much much doubt that Gabbard is going to mount a third party challenge. Despite what Hillary said.
The guy on the bench is seen as the coach.
Half of the internet erupted into cheers when Hillary said that.
"#Resistance twitter" eats that stuff up.
Someone should tell Hillar Clinton to shut the **** up and stay low like Obama mostly has. Nothing good can can come from her opening her stupid mouth.
She lost the election to Trump, who was obviously the worst person to ever be selected as a candidate for president by a major party. It should have been easy to win over him, so the fact that she didn't win in a landslide shows how worthless and uncharismatic she is.
In fact, by not simply ignoring Tulsi, she's playing into their hands by inflating their importance and giving them more attention than they could on their own.
There are some strange things about Tulsi Gabbard. She has a lot of support on the far right. Example - she has rejected the support of Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke but he ignores her attacks and continues to support her. He has endorsed her for 2020.
I find it disconcerting that people reject out-of-hand Hillary Clinton's contention that Moscow is grooming Gabbard to be their stalking horse in 2020.
Who really knows? I certainly don't. I think we have to be careful. Maybe Clinton is right. Some people posting here are positive Clinton is wrong but what do they base that on? Look at how divisive this is becoming and how quickly. Some posters are now attacking Obama as an elitist and a phony! Where does that come from?
Who is Jimmy Dore supporting this time? He usually has all his RT ducks in a row.
That Moscow is "grooming" Gabbard and she's a Russian "asset"?

His latest. No mentioning of Tulsi. No nickname for her as I pointed out already. She gets zero publicity from him and he knows why.
He ran a populist campaign based on "hope" and "change," never specifying what should be changed or hoped for and leaving it to his supporters to fill in the blanks for themselves. Turned out a lot of them were hoping for more change than he delivered. Those same people may well have voted for Trump to make America "great again," for exactly the same reason.
This guy dared to do an extensive interview with Tulsi without "picking up on the Russian asset thing".
Not exactly that, but when she's being endorsed by people like Richard Spencer, David Duke, Mike Cernovich and The Daily Stormer it makes you wonder what exactly is happening.
That's not what people were upset over.Well, that's a bunch of nonsense. Many people were whining about how he didn't do things that he very clearly stated he'd do the exact opposite of, such as "open borders" (he openly said he'd enforce border security so the GOP could have room to reform immigration), or "Pull troops out of Afghanistan" (Obama stated outright that he wanted an Iraq-style surge).
He had said, when fighting for union votes with Clinton, “I will make sure we renegotiate (NAFTA).” Even as he said this, it turns out that campaign advisor Austan Goolsbee had gone to Canada to assure them this was a lie (sure enough, Obama’s trade policies are identical to Bush’s, or worse). And once the election ended, and Obama was asked about his broken promise by a reporter, he gave the following answer.
“This is fun for the press to try to stir up whatever quotes were generated during the course of the campaign,” President Obama said during his Transition in early December, when a reporter asked him about criticisms he and now-Secretary of State Clinton had made about each other’s foreign policy views.
“They’re your quotes, sir,” said the reporter, Peter Baker of the New York Times.
“No, I understand. And you’re having fun,” Obama continued. “And there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m not faulting it.”
This is cynicism as art. It’s literally a Presidential candidate running on hope and change saying that campaign promises are a joke and a ruse.
White House press secretary Jay Carney said Thursday that he wasn't aware of any plans by Obama, who has nothing on his agenda for this afternoon, to travel to Madison.
"I think what we have made pretty clear is that the president thinks and we think, he’s stated this, that obviously a lot of states in the union are dealing with fiscal issues, big problems in their state budgets that need to be addressed," Carney said. "And they need to act responsibly, tighten their belts, live within their means, just as we in Washington, the executive branch and Congress need to do with our federal situation."
