Graham knows better - he is fully aware what his toadying is costing the Kurds, the US national interest, US security and his personal reputation.
The only reason why he would do this is because he doesn't see any alternative.

....or he simply doesn't give a flying **** about the Kurds, doesn't think that US security is too badly impacted and that the personal reputation which matters - his reputation among GOP voters - isn't damaged at all. This is IMO because most GOP voters don't care about the Kurds and think that President Trump is enhancing the US's international reputation.

The only gayness I see in Graham is his apparent need to have a man-crush in his life. I tend to think he's more or less asexual in his behavior, but that emotionally he does need to have a hero-worship figure.

Or as someone else else suggested he's just trying to survive.

The total 180 that Graham did on Trump after McCain died is remarkable: it only took one golf game to turn a critic into a fanboy.
In such a case, wondering about Kompromat is not unreasonable.

Which got me thinking:

Blackmailed how? What might Graham have to hide? Well, TGZ is pretty confident he's a closeted homosexual. That seems like a plausible reason for blackmail. It also provides some cover for stereotyping him as gay.

Neither claim is dependent on the other. Graham has been speculated to be both of those things at different times by different people. I tend to believe both may be the case.

Whatever hold Trump has on him (probably disclosed at their infamous golf game), it has to be BAD for him to 180 the way he did.

But that could also cover any number of GOPers these days.

Who discloses actionable blackmail material over a game of golf? How would that even work? Did he stop off at the clubhouse to print a sheaf of incriminating emails and hand-deliver them to Trump? Did he confess to trading sex for favors with Gay Epstein, and Trump just happened to be wearing a wire? Did he cheat on his scorecard, and Trump fished it out of the trash?

I took it to mean Trump revealed what he had on Graham to Graham while playing golf.

I can't imagine a worse round of golf and I have played some really **** golf courses.

It's not a terrible narrative to weaken and humiliate Graham. Perpetuating the rumor regardless of truth pushes Graham into a box, makes him a figure of ridicule and cruel fun. I'll grant that it could personally destroy him but so what? It's patriotic to destroy Trump supporters.

Graham went over to Trump because the South Carolina GOP base loves Trump. It's all about getting his hypocritical ass reelected.

I can see that...as long as the 'in person' contact is short lived. A person can only hide their true selves for so long.
