Also, The Fat Orange Turd's lawyers (at least the three that have not yet got out of town while they could) have just met with Jack Smith and his prosecutors. This usually happens as a last-ditch effort to dissuade the prosecutor from charging their client.

Then to add to that, this ranting, unhinged, all caps meltdown The Fat Orange Turd's post on his Turd Social platform...

Yup. his lawyers have told him he's about to be charged, and he's in full panic-blubbing mode!

The NYT is reporting that Mark Meadows has testified in front of the Grand Jury on both the Jan 6 and Mar-a-lago documents cases, but they don't say when this happened. So, whether he testified at one time to both cases or is possibly the 'new witness' in FL is not known.
 
Former AG Bill Barr said today that he thinks an indictment of Trump in the documents case is near and that, over time when the facts come out, people will see that this was not a case of the DOJ conducting a witch hunt.

And lets just ignore the fact that if Discount Fred Flintstone was still Trump's Att. General, he would be doing his best to defend him, as he did with the Mueller investigation.

His statements on Trump really give off a "trying to reform my image" vibe, rather than a true belief in justice.

More reports that the DOJ is about to ask the Grand Jury to indict Trump on Espionage

Reports are that Mark Meadows has agreed to plead guilty on multiple charges and has been granted limited Immunity for testifying against Trump.

The Justice Department typically notifies people when they become targets of an investigation to give them an opportunity to present their own evidence before a grand jury. The notification does not necessarily mean Mr Trump will be charged.

My understanding is that many documents Trump took are still unaccounted for.

In any case like this until now, this would be an automatic reason not to grant bail.
