The Templars have something to do with everything...

As anyone noticed the high percentage of cat avatars/name references at JREF? It seems higher than the population at large.

I am sure there must be some deep (and sinister) explanation behind this. As my contribution I would like to point out the Knights Templars were accused of worshipping a cat like creature (in some descriptions it seemed a bit like a Sphinx - but I think the sphinx was buried and poorly visible back then).

Either that or might have something to do with this

Quote:
Inquisitor: Justify yourself
Cat: I have given pleasure to thousands because I have such a beautiful ass.
Inquisitor: Some might say that's a pretty shallow argument.
Cat: Some might say I'm a pretty shallow guy. But a shallow guy with a great ass!

There has probably been more total nonsense written about the Knights Templar then any other group on earth.

There do seem to be an inordinate number of people that believe cats are evil, just like there are an inordinate number of people that believe Jews are evil. Obviously, that means cats are indeed evil and that ownership or display of a feline is an overt declaration of one's affiliation with dark forces.

An then there are people like myself who have had a feline avatar in the past but who now choose to hide their affiliation to the NWO by adopting a different one.

I don't know what to make of LGR.

A troll?
A CT?
A CT doing a parody of a troll?
A troll doing a parody of a sceptic doing a parody of a CT?
A mental patient?

Maybe he is just too avant-garde for me.

Well, I suppose I should go back to my NWO Kitty avatar, then.

What, pray tell, does "inordinate" mean in this context? I don't want to go all "Princess Bride" on you.

"Exceeding reasonable limits." Of course, that's based on my idea of what's reasonable. I like cats, so I consider anyone who hates them to be unreasonable.

I really have to state that I have never had the thought cross my mind that my cat has a nice ass.

Soooo, a subjectively large number of JREF posters have a cat avatar or name, cats are sinister, the Sphinx was cat-like and the Templars may or may not have worshipped cats, and the Catholic church inquisition wiped out the templars.

So obviously JREF is sinister.

IS LGR trying to revive the Monty Python style?

Do you know who invented the cat flap? Sir Isaac Mewton.

There's more to this than meets the eye.

Actually logically it means cats are Jewish or possibly Jews are catty. Or both.

I think it was around a long before Sir Isaac. I hear Schiller could only work with the smell of rotten apples in his desk.

Ho-hum.
