Here's a more accurate statement: Right wing journalist finds other right wingers to give their unsupported fear mongering opinions to justify their cult worship of Dump.

First off, Biden didn't slash any border patrol or ICE budgets. Second if he had it wouldn't go into effect that fast. Third, Dump's big lie about the rapists and murderers flooding in from across the border has been debunked multiple times. Immigrants commit fewer of these crimes than US citizens, and according to the FBI, the rates of murder and violent crimes have been decreasing for three decades.

With that said, when it comes to Cruz, in particular, "stupid" is probably not the correct description of what's going on here. It's fairly certainly more akin to virtue signalling. Pretty much everyone who hears it is going to know that it's friggin' dumb. It's telling many of the Republicans that Cruz is "on their side" in some way, though.

I've never seen a news source show a five minute or longer speech by a foreign politician. Heck, Fox, OANN and Newsmaxx can't or won't show more than a 30 second edited clip of Biden, and they have motivation to show him as he's their President plus motivation to show his gaffe as they are propaganda networks for the opposing party.

He is quite far from an inspirational speaker and I had to turn it off. But that’s hardly how we should judge a President, and if that’s the biggest thing to complain about, we’re doing well.

I've never seen a news source show a five minute or longer speech by a foreign politician. Heck, Fox, OANN and Newsmaxx can't or won't show more than a 30 second edited clip of Biden, and they have motivation to show him as he's their President plus motivation to show his gaffe as they are propaganda networks for the opposing party.
