Beating up this conjecture isn't really the point.

But the redshifted energy, in one version is absorbed by the vacuum. Any wavelength, perfect absorber.

And when it reaches equilibrium with its surroundings, it sheds energy if necessary to maintain equilibrium.

The vacuum is the source of the CMB, which is energy that was lost when light is redshifted. At least according to that idea.

Actually, that was Roborama who said... well, something that you seem to have mis-construed at that. Ziggurat told you some more interesting stuff about it over time, which you conveniently seem to have forgotten. Which really seems to be your style of arguing anything: repeat the same assertions, forget everything you don't have an answer to, forget even what you yourself said less than two hours ago if you can run with the goalposts instead.
