Those poncy Pommy types do give that impression.
As many people have found out over the centuries, including Hitler and Napoleon, it's often wrong. Complete tosser that he is, Chuckie was a polo player, and polo is a game for people who are everything but delicate. You need to read some Biggles. |

As human right is always something given, it always in reality reduces to the right which men give, "concede," to each other. If the right to existence is conceded to new-born children, then they have the right; if it is not conceded to them, as was the case among the Spartans and ancient Romans, then they do not have it. For only society can give or concede it to them; they themselves cannot take it, or give it to themselves. |

What happens when they reach the part of the ceremony when Mary Berry says "if anyone knows any just cause why this man cannot be named Star Baker" and Harry comes crashing through a stained glass window on a motorcycle? Does Harry have to fight William before he fights Charles, because of order of operations?
Also, holy crap, I just googled the date of the coronation. It's my birthday. Of all the days in the year they had to latch on to my birthday, in a pathetic attempt to draw attention and interest to themselves! |

In WW1, the German army had the Goulash Cannon, a 2-wheeled horse-drawn cooker that was welcome everywhere. The cooks and their helpers could fuel it with scrap wood (plenty of that in fought-over territory) and derelict coal, and stew up a hot feed out of anything the quartermaster could think of, to say nothing of French or Belgian mutton n spuds.
Other armies did the same, or tried to. Nowadays, the staff officers can't seem to think in such homey ways. |

After the coronation, are all Cavalier King Charles Spaniels going to belong to King Charles?

No, that's not how it works, silly! Upon being coronated, the monarch is responsible for inventing a new breed of dog. King Charles Spaniels were invented by an earlier King Charles. The late queen invented the corgi, of course. What Charles will invent is a mystery, but I suspect he will utilize focus group input to try to design a new breed from currently popular ones. So it'll be a mixture of French bulldog, pug, Chihuahua, and cat. I don't envy Charles this task, it's going to be uphill work getting that lot merged into a functioning dog. He'll have to be sure to stay within the required standards: four legs, no less, and definitely no more; two eyes, located in the skull, and also it needs to be capable of locomotion, breathing (more or less, in the case of pugs), and it should be subject to time and gravity (it really stands out when something isn't).

You know Queen Victoria invented the Pekingese, right? The first one was named "Looty".
True story, you can look it up. |

Speaking of school days, listening to King Charles III struggling with the German language today took me back to my similar efforts in second year German. I am surprised by his lack of fluency given his heritage.
