Their final plan ended up being a plot to either assassinate or kidnap (then kill) the governor, but originally they had plans that looked a lot more like the DC capitol invasion. They wanted to raid the state capitol with a bunch of gunmen and capture the state politicians inside.

The rhetoric of the right wing has been pretty clear this whole time. People have always doubted that they really meant it, but the messaging has been pretty consistent.
