Apparently Pompeo is also disliked by members of the state department, although I'm sure Trump doesn't really care about that.

We can, but then again youth and prettiness do seem to be important (primary ? sole ?) criteria when it comes to the selection of female members of the administration.

There are exceptions, but most female staffers seem to fit a particular template and when their qualifications are examined in detail they do seem to be un(der)qualified and/or have lied about their fitness for the posts.

The ones who understand the rule of law, order, and discipline in the military will be disgusted by him.

After the way he treated McCain's war record, Gold Star parents, etc., not to mention his own draft dodging, anyone who still believed he has any interest in actually supporting the military as opposed to making self-serving gestures has already demonstrated their unquestioning commitment to him. The ones who know better will not be swayed by this. The ones who understand the rule of law, order, and discipline in the military will be disgusted by him.
