[Moderated Thread] Guidelines

Guidelines for [Moderated Threads]

(The Forum has a feature that allows us to turn on the Forum’s built in "Moderation" system for individual threads.)

When a thread has the "Moderation" system switched on, the title will be edited to include the "[Moderated Thread]" prefix so you will know if you are posting in a [Moderated Thread].

When you make a post to a [Moderated Thread] your post has to be approved by a member of the Moderating Team before it appears in the thread.

A thread's [Moderated Thread] status may at some point be removed; if this happens, the title of the thread will be edited to remove the [Moderated Thread] prefix and posts will no longer have to be pre-approved by the Moderating Team.

Some guidelines:

You do not need to PM anyone on the Moderating Team that you have made a post - we will see that there are posts waiting for Moderation.

A stricter enforcement of the Membership Agreement is used in [Moderated Threads] which means that any post that breaches the Membership Agreement even in a minor way may be edited or remain unpublished at the discretion of the Moderation Team, so resist the urge to add a "heated comment" if you wish your opus magnum to appear in its entirety, or at all.

If your post is not approved, it will be deleted and - in most cases - you will receive a PM informing you that the post was not approved.
