It should also remembered, net worth does not mean 'money in the bank.' It's the estimated value of a person's assets including estimated market values. What would 'x' be worth if they sold it tomorrow? For instance the Addidas deal. I don't think Addidas 'paid' him $1.5 billion in one lump sum. The $1.5 billion probably represented the value of the deal over the life of the contract. But if you're calculating someone's net worth, you count what a deal like that is worth over the life of the agreement.

As I saw donald trump explain once on the Letterman Show -- !!! -- one of the best things about long term deals is, you can borrow today on the basis of the estimated long term value of the deal.

But if you're calculating someone's net worth, you count what a deal like that is worth over the life of the agreement. As I saw donald trump explain once on the Letterman Show -- !!! -- one of the best things about long term deals is, you can borrow today on the basis of the estimated long term value of the deal.

His decisions would not be any different then they were leading up to the current situation. Those with bipolar don't just stop making bad decisions and then get on with life.
