Trump claims he should take credit for black job gains. Here are the facts
Besides, Hispanic people are the scapegoat de jour. |

That just gets funnier every time you say it? It's the conversational equivalent of running through Founders Square with your underpants on your head, but hey, who'm I to argue with clever conservative ripostes.
Methodology: Pick a word or a point and keep harping at it and hope no one notices that you have no arguments. "Nazis!" "Evil!!!" "Time Well Spent" "Childless Europeans" You're in great company. |

The best part about this is that I don't even need arguments anymore. FMW has completely changed the game.

Hey, your side started it. Neener neener neener!
No, I didn't change the game. Donnie Johnny and the Miller Scumbag have taken the gloves off. Those in denial and peddling their political petunias while looking the other way are being called on it. Anyone who doubts it can simply go to the "Send her back" thread and see the classic obstructionism and denialism in action. If not, go to the next Trump rally in your area. We still have people pretending that "send her back" meant something other than the blatantly and historically racist/bigoted comment that it is. |

Trump's calling critical media outlets "Fake News", enemies of the people, traitors, losers is directly from the Nazi propaganda playbook.

Looks like the concerns about a Godwin dropped faster than the profits in a Trump casino.

Indeed. Liberal in 2019 USA or Jew in 1944 Germany, fates are practically indistinguishable.
Are you for real? Here’s a big ask to the “liberals”: please be less crazy than trump. I wouldn’t have thought that would have been hard... that will help come election time (you know, what the Jews didn’t get) |

You're clutching at straws, aren't you? I suppose that it's easier tip-toeing through all the elephant dung than recognizing the reason that it's there.
Have you no access to the internet? Have you not seen Trumpistas not taking your hand-waving tack but saying that he's right and that people who hate the country should leave? But keep on keeping on. The August edition of Hand-Wavers Monthly should have some more ploys for you. Anything's better than looking around and noticing the company you're keeping: bigots, xenophobes, racists, white nationalists.

Then you demonstrate my point.

I will make this prediction. The democratic candidate for president will be someone who never pulled more than 40% favorability in the primary polling but will be polling above 80% the week after they secure the nomination. That will be the case if its Biden, Warren, the new age women, Beto, Harris, a glass of water. This is basic human psychology. Basic as in at the core rather than simple. |

That's actually an interesting point.
Not being racist - more broadly, not being bigoted - is an ideal. It's something we should all strive for, but I don't think it's possible to achieve it. Maybe the Dalai Lama lives a life free from prejudice? I dunno. Anyway, not being racist is a good goal. It's one of my goals. I think I've been doing pretty well, but I don't think I'm perfect yet. I don' think you or anyone else is perfect yet either. And the important thing is, where I'm at doesn't really depend on where you perceive I'm at, or where you choose to believe (or pretend) I'm at. You can call me racist all day long, and it won't change where I'm actually at. On the other hand, not appearing to be racist has important benefits. Even if I'm not particularly racist, appearing to be racist has all kinds of negative impact on myself, my neighbors, and my community. So I think in some ways, a hardcore racist who keeps their racism to themselves and strives to appear tolerant and inclusive in public may be better for society than a casual bigot who's working on improving themselves but doesn't bother to suppress their problematic tendencies. |

Yes, apologizing for this racist president and his rodent-infested administration is pointless.
My first real impression of Mike Pence was from the VP debates. When Kaine challenged him to defend offensive statements Trump had made, he just denied that Trump had even said them. Pence is the slack-jawed, pasty-faced poster boy for the rodent-infested Party of Trump. |

There is a difference between hating the country and hating how the country is run - and no Trump supporter seems to be willing to make the distinction.
It is almost as if criticism of Trump is being equated with criticism of the nation ... |

Telling people who don't like the country to leave CAN certainly be racist. You're trying an escape clause that just doesn't ring true. The blusterer in chief is saying that to three American-born suspiciously dark individuals. You can twist your forgiving self into pretzels but everyone else recognizes it for what it is.
Particularly when you've lived through desegregation and you've heard some Irish guy who got off a boat a generation ago tell a black African-American to go back to Africa. Not to mention that you're treading on jingoistic holier-than-thou thin ice with the concept of "liking" or "hating" America. Dry-humping old glory is an act of patriotism in some circles. Standing up for what's right and protesting the miscreants leading your country into the 19th century is an act of patriotism to me. The construction workers who chased anti-war protesters with 2 x 4s all thought we should go to Russia if we didn't like it. |
