Data Breach!

Accessing the forum through Chrome I'm getting a message that a data breach has exposed my password and it's prompting me to change it.

On Firefox it's fine, currently.

Is anyone else experiencing similar?

It's a new service offered by Chrome.

Reading the link I suggest you need a password manager and ensure all your passwords are unique. You have used this email / password combination elsewhere and hackers have access to this information. If they find you are registered here then we find out what hackers do with a good forum userid.

Thanks all. My password here is a gazillion years old and used nowhere else on the net. I'm sure I'll be fine, let 'em do their worst!

I've been using "remember me" so long I have no idea what my password is on this forum.

I tried to log into Skeptical Community a couple of years ago, realized I didn't know the password, and then further realized that the email I used at the time was from an ISP that no longer exists.

I gave the answer recently in another thread. Here is my post. It will ask for your password. Give it the one you use to log onto your computer.
If you use another browser there will be a similar page.

Edit. Looks like you will have to cut and paste this URL.

You could just create a new account there, they don't care if you have multiple accounts, several people do.

I would think it's probably not telling you about a breach that occurred on this site.
