Because they aren't total Trump sycophants. I guess the only other hope is the crazies are denied confirmation by the Senate. His next vp will likely be Kari Lake or similar.

Oh, FFS!

Let's assume it does indeed come down to B vs T. If that's the choice, then even in the extreme an imbecilic good man is better than a genius psychopath.

Because the good man will have good people in his Administration. The psychopath will demand none better than bootlickers.

Those who disparage Biden would seem reveal an affinity for the unitary Executive, where it's all about one man at the top. A functioning Government is far more a team.

Biden = team.

Being a bit nit-picky here, but in Spain itself, Barcelona is pronounced Bar-the-lona although I doubt Trump knew that. I doubt he even knows where it is.

Biden has been a good President. He will be a good President again. Its getting him across the finish line that I am concerned about. But lets see where we are in January.

Before 2022 the Dems controlled the House. After 2022 they no longer had control.

So I was part right, as I stated in the thread that the Dems may lose big or lose little but it still would be a net loss.

A net loss would mean the Republicans overall had more victories than the Democrats. They didn’t. They won the House by a slim majority and lost ground everywhere else. The House elections weren’t the totality of the midterms.

Feel free to take it to the other thread and defend your nonsensical position there.

Dems had full control of Congress in 2022. In 2023, they did not, hence Biden's agenda was fully put on hold.

That's a loss.

What part of Biden’s agenda has been put on hold? Please be specific. The one major legislative showdown between Democrats and Republicans since the midterms was about the debt ceiling. How’d that work out?

It may have come as a surprise to Bunker Boy that the radicalized minority who show up to worship him at his rallies aren't representative of ordinary Iowans or ordinary Americans in general.

Oh, sorry about that, I forgot for a moment that Mr. T**** was too cowardly to turn up tonight."

Do that two or three times over 90 minutes would ensure a blazing hissy fit of incoherence from T****y in the next debate.

Please be specific and let’s take it to the appropriate thread.

Another good question. Third parties have an effect, remember Ross Perot? HA, just kidding, nobody does, but many remember Stockdale. Or Ralph Nader.

All it takes for some traction towards the end that may skew things one way or another.

According to the dictionary "covfefe" can be capitalized but doesn't have to be.

It doesn't appear to be entirely random. He seems to favor capitalized nouns:

Maybe he thinks it's a form of emphasis. Like people that put quotes around words.

Bear in mind, this man has a college degree.

Nope, he was called out for typos in his tweets so he adopted it as a "style" rather than admit he made typos, entirely ego based.

. . . we are launching a “Stop Trump Summit” to be held in New York City in October. The summit will be a timely strategy session gathering some of the brightest minds in American politics and culture. Guests will include the sharpest analyst of Trump’s dangerous mind, his niece, psychologist Mary L. Trump; congressman and Trump impeachment manager Jamie Raskin; anti-Trump lawyer and CNN contributor George Conway; National Action Network founder Al Sharpton; and Stuart Stevens, senior adviser at the Lincoln Project; and actor Robert De Niro.

It seems that a significant plurality of Americans are ready for a Trump Presidency v2.0.

As a chain is as strong as its weakest link, this land of crazies is defined by the clowns with flamethrowers.

FU, America.

On Meet the Press, Trump continues his pathological lying:

1. New York and other places have passed legislation allowing them to kill babies after birth.

Truth: No state allows this.

2. Nancy Pelosi was in charge of Jan 6 security.

Truth: That’s the responsibility of the Capitol Police Board, which oversees the US Capitol Police and approves requests for National Guard assistance.

3. Nancy Pelosi refused offer of 10,000 National Guard troops.

Truth: No such offer was made and she had no authority over it.

4. He was cheated out of the 2020 election due to rigging.

Truth: No evidence ever found.

5. No people on the terrorist watch list were encountered at the southern border when he was president in 2019 and the number has since 'exploded'.

Truth:

6. He killed the Nordstream Russia gas pipeline.

Truth: "Trump signed a bill in 2019 that included sanctions against companies building the pipeline. Construction was suspended, but resumed a year later, while Trump was in office. The pipeline has never gone into service because German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stopped the certification process last year."

7. Bacon's price has quintupled in price.

Truth: Bacon has increased by 11%.

8. About $85 Billion in military equipment was left behind in Afghanistan.

Truth: About $7 Billion was left behind.

MAGA doesn't care that Trump's a pathological liar as long as he tells them what they want to hear.

Ya know, I can empathize with your frustration with the political situation in the US, but you hateful, anti-American rhetoric has become very offensive.

Question: in NY, at one stage of fetal development is abortion no longer legal?

First 24 weeks of pregnancy. After that, only if there is a health risk.

Wow, I found an abortion clinic in New York that talks about abortions even in the 9th month.
