IMDB Boards shutting down...
...had quite a good time for many many years debating the most special of the CTists.....you haven't experienced pure lunacy until you've been on the IMDB boards for United 93 or World Trade Center....

As a film lover in general, I am sad to see IMDB's message boards go. Sure they bring out the loons, but they were great for discussions about the films.

The Boards for any film dealing with Nazi Germany or the Holocaust also guaranteed crackpottery in large amounts...a lot of it very ugly.
In fact, I suspect that increasing amount of racial and anti semitic rants on IMDB over the past year were a factor in causing Amazon to close the discussion pages. |
