Correct me if I'm wrong... but the presidential primaries run at the same time as the state Supreme court elections?
If so that might have been a factor in the Democratic victory... after all, since Trump was basically running unopposed, his supporters didn't have to go to the polls to ensure he won the primaries, whereas the democratic primaries still had 2 possible candidates to vote for. That meant more democratic turnout to vote in the primary (and thus more left-leaning voters able to cast their votes for the supreme court nominees, who would be more likely to pick the left-wing candidate.) |

So, the “re-open” committee is going to have such metric-savvy people as Ivanka.
A committee full of people who are going to give their proxy vote to President Trump. Quelle surprise |

Wrong mutiny. The present one looks like finishing up as this: Ahh, but the strawberries that's... that's where I had them. They laughed at me and made jokes but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt and with... geometric logic... that a duplicate key to the wardroom icebox DID exist, and I'd have produced that key if they hadn't of pulled the Caine out of action. I, I, I know now they were only trying to protect some fellow officers... Norm |

There’s been a pattern over the last twenty years or so of left-leaning people acknowledging that “oh, this left-leaning person did something that is equivalent to the right-Leaning person. They were wrong and should face consequences. So how do you feel about the abuse you just described being done by a right-leaning person?”
“Ha! You admitted it! That means my guy is perfectly correct!” |

Sounds like trump is a greatest hits today. So far he's attacked the WHO, Govenor Cuomo, and President Obama.

What would be amazing: If one of our Trump-hating billionaires stepped up and covered this year's US WHO funding. Perhaps accompanied by the statement, "If things go well, I won't have to do this again next year because we'll have a new president."

What the hell kind a ******* **** stain cuts funding for the WHO during a global pandemic? He really is just stupid. And now all the vile lick spittles and the Trumptrash scum are going fawn all over the **** like he took some bold action. Those few of its supporters with near human intelligence know just how stupid this is and they'll still say it was a great move.
I am amused by how the bastard put his tail between his legs while abdicating all responsibility for reopening the economy. NBC reported today that he's having a hard time getting CEOs and other executives to join his "task force". Most of them got to their positions by knowing how to avoid a complete **** show. |

So Trump says he's granting authority to the governors as to when they open up their state. LOL! He has no power to 'grant authority' over this but it's amusing how he's trying to spin the fact that he was just plain wrong. Remember yesterday when he said he'd have a list of the legal reasons he has "total control" over the governors? He just can't admit he was wrong. Lying putz.

I think once Trump is out of office for a while the stories are going to start coming out about how bad he really was. And I don't mean Rachel Maddow-style hit pieces, I mean good solid reporting. What we're seeing now is the tip of the iceberg. I'm convinced of it.
Once Trump is gone we're going to start finding out about all the damage he has done. Programs that were allowed to whither through neglect. Millions wasted because Donnie Boy couldn't be bothered with oversight. All the mistakes that were made. The mini-disasters. The fact is, far from being a 'fake' news media, because Trump IS the president, I'd bet there's all kinds of stuff the media is keeping the lid on because it would be just too damaging to the U.S. In fact, I'd bet there's tons of dirt Pelosi and Schiff have on the whackjob in the White House but they keep it quiet because they're ethical people. They pick their spots. It's corny but it's probably true: they love their country more than they despise Trump. A precedent is Richard Nixon in 1974. The media never reported he was roaming the White House halls at night, three sheets to the wind, talking to the presidential portraits on the wall. And much worse. Back then the news media was reviled by Nixon the same way Trump attacks them today. I just hope this insanity ends this November. |

I'm pretty certain GOP lawmakers also have very damaging stuff on Trump but they keep it quiet because they still hope to ride his coattails to victory.
The RNCC called my mom's house with a question about whether the coronavirus coverage has been fair and accurate. The significance may be that this organization is tasked with getting/keeping Republicans in the House. Do they embrace Trump's "fake news" refrain or try to put some distance between their candidacy and Trump's coronavirus response? I have plenty of criticism for CNN etc. but seriously, there's absolutely no doubt over who is more credible. I might critique how much "mainstream media" coverage seems aimed at getting people to click on "Trump controversy" stories, but it's far simpler to believe he really is that bad (and worse) than to posit that every single organization is following a "criticize Trump" business plan. |
