Casey's HUMAN FLYING DRONE
.
Okay - i really wasn't going to go there. I was going to let it pass. Really. I really was. Biggest reason being - I am not a fan. So it therefore would be problematic or wrong for me to criticize and question the claims. Some people will understand this - some won't. But that was the main reason I wasn't going to go there. But then he made a new video low key accusing all doubters of being ignorant or of not thinking straight. SO that was it - I was left with no option - I went there. I had to. (explanation in the video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fuvzSmCqdQU The parts of his videos where he is flying - they are possibly fake. You heard it hear first. Unlike the other possible 'hoaxes' this one will resolve itself fairly quickly. Being that its on everyones radar and that he is center stage - i give it less than a month til this one is busted or 100% proven real beyond doubt |

There comes a point when you're checking to see if sour milk is still sour.

It certainly looks fake. But the company is doing a good job of playing it like it's real (but experimental and very dangerous).

I decided against my better judgement to give the video a chance. I stopped when the first piece of "evidence" was a giant construction crane in the background.

I don't get it. Why is a construction crane in the background evidence of fakery?
Why is citing the state of the art in CGI not a debunking of the accused use of CGI? If it was faked by means other than CGI, then what fx were used, it doesn't look green screened either. |

Since just 1 of those motor/prop combinations allows a 30lb airplane to pretend it's a helicopter, what is the issue here?

Yup, it's really one of the hallmarks though. There's never just one conspiracy and they all go deeper and deeper.

The video gives us an insight into how the OP reads these threads. Selected details are analysed to absurd levels while inconvenient facts are sped up to tl;dr.

One thing to note - his video was clearly not editied by him.
Anyone who has seen his videos much will agree. It does not have the feel of his edit or direction. Aspects of it did feel familiar though - and I don't mean to Caseys work. So here is one of the notions I am currently running with (exploring as an idea). EITHER- A) JetPack jb-10, Flyboard Air and Caseys drone are all totally real and legit OR B) they are all hoaxes and its likely the same crew involved in all 3 hoaxes and the production of these videos. ( or at least 2 of them) Particular similarities can be seen in the JB-10 videos and the Casey Drone videos. Very similar work. Very similar direction and edit style IMO. Some of the flyboard stuff - a little different. ( ie jb10 and Casey - most likely same crew - flyboard - maybe maybe not) p.s. anyone see his latest 360 video of it (lol) still certain its legit after that? |

I don't think he's saying what you seem to wish he's saying.

It sure does.
Just trying to make this trip to France happen at the moment. Not heard back from Zapata team, but that is no reason not to go. Things have a habit of working out if they should. And I think I should go to France - so with any luck the current obstacles I face will somehow melt away and you'll get to see a short video diary of me stumbling around the South of France searching for a glimpse of this elusive flying machine. |

At 2:13 in the video the drone flies on the outside of the light pole, yet Casey still gets pulled to the inside of pole.

Why not? It's not exactly a sensible mode of travel.
