Is it wrong to believe Santa Claus has a better chance of delivering a SunCell than Mills does?

Well, there is far more evidence for the existence of Santa Claus than there is for the existence of the Hydrino.

Do you think if we combined the Magic of Santa Claus with the Mystery of the Hydrino we could crank out a Rankin/Bass quality musical Christmas special staring a stop motion snowman version of Justin Bieber in time for Black Friday?

Nope, Hydrino is trademarked, so all we'd be doing is inadvertently funding BLP after they sue us into oblivion.

Last time I checked in on this thread was probably about 18 months ago, and BLP were going to market with a product within the year.

So, can we buy anything yet? Surely we can?

You can buy into the claim that the latest delay was completely unpredictable, and merely the result of unforeseen difficulties in implementing the technology.

Ah, good. Just like the perpetual motion guy who's got it all working and will head to market just as soon as he sorts out this 'little friction problem'.

Sure and I like the link too. The better the product, the longer we can wait. In this case a practically limitless energy source means we have a practically limitless wait in store for us. ... And that's exactly how long it will take to develop the technology... forever.

In honor of the American traditional holiday, Thanksgiving, I'd like to thank Mill's for the Turkey that keeps on giving. Here's to another thirty years of almost there! Cheers!

So having waited 30 years is the "patience level of a toddler". Nice to know you refrained from hyperbole, there.

So, having been demonstratably correct in our predictions for 30 years is "pathological scepticism", and actually bothering to get post-graduate degrees in real sciences is "subservience to received dogma". Again, kudos on the avoidance of hyperbole. Far too many people in your position succumb to irrationality in the face of constant failure.

Just to set this all in context for Blessed Markie (Patron Saint of the Suspiciously Optimistic), what are some discoveries and inventions that have gone from initiation to use in that same 30 year interval?

Yikes! Since 1987...

Yikes! Since 1987...
Many of the `new' devices I used in 87 no longer exist at all- they went from invented to used to obsolete!!!

Jeez DVD's hadnt been invented, now they are practically obsolete- my new tower doesnt have one as standard, neither does my laptop, my lounge player (bought new in 96 at great expense) blew up two years ago and I havent even bothered replacing it as I hadnt even turned it on in at least a year...

Dialup modems- 56k of blistering fast data speed (hey when my first modem was an acoustic coupler that only did 300 baud...) who still has one of those??- not many...

VGA CRT monitor- deeper than it was wide.... 640x480 - and believe me, it was soooo clear compared to the old CGA colour monitors where you often guessed at a word by context- because they couldnt actually display text

And thats just in computers

I bought my first inverter back in the late eighties (24volt dc to 240vac for off grid houses)- it cost over a grand and was only 1200w max- I recently bought a new one for my 4x4 for camping, 1200w was only $45, I bought a 8KW for under $300,then cried when I saw one advertised at the local solar installers 14KW for $150

Yeah I'm blessed.
9/10 for the troll post. You posted an article about relatively minor delays in a product's release in a thread about one that's been "delayed" repeatedly since the 1990's with increasingly lame complaints about third party component manufacturers. It's like telling someone whose right arm has been cut off that a sticking plaster and some antibacterial ointment will have them playing the piano again in a couple weeks.

The link you provided is comically inappropriate yet you not only posted it, but got a lot of attention from people responding to you. Well played.

Have you considered working for the Russians? Your ****-posting game is strong enough to meet their standards easily and I suspect they pay better than whatever personal satisfaction you get from trolling here. I'd make a joke about Mills paying you but he has more than enough fools and desperate investors under his sway for this kind of thing to spread organically.

IIRC, Pons and Fleishman's first announcement of cold fusion was in 1987 (or maybe 1986). The progress of development on that is very similar to that of the hydrino. To be fair, I think P&F really believed they had something, but were mistaken. I think Mills' hydrino stuff was a fraud from the get-go.

An update from Mills on November 13:

Quote:
We are making great progress. I just filed patens on a new MDH thermodynamic cycle that is amazing. Engineering program is progressing well. More validation completed. Fantastic results on hydrino energetic material reactions. Just isn’t advantageous to constantly publicly announce and share our results.

It seem it's everything ready and they're raring to go ... should the investors provide the needed 20 or 30 extra millions .

So many words that said absolutely nothing, and promised nothing. Very “Yes, Minister”....
