Funny, would you have said the same thing if Obama or Hilary had launched the strikes?
I despise Trump,but I think I am seeing a double standard emerging.

Obama didn't, given a similar situation. Hillary, we'll never know. The only double standard is from Trump. He repeatedly declared that Obama shouldn't do exactly what Trump himself did at the very first opportunity.

Reporter points out to @PressSec that Hitler indeed did use gas in WW2 — as part of genocide against 6 million Jews.

"He was not using the gas on his own people in the same way that Assad is doing," says @PressSec attempt to clarify his remark.

Yeah he's just an idiot who accidentally sounded like he was denying the Holocaust.

Ah, I saw an original "quote" that was different by a few words, changing the statement slightly. (Perhaps is was the spun one on Fox News?)
Now, no doubt about what he said.

You know it's going to be bad when even SNL can't make fun of these guys any more.

And, now this. Trump continues to prove that he is a very expensive hypocrite.

Trump's spending spree on security is crazy

CNN) Presidents should be encouraged to play golf. The more golf they play, the less time they have to mess with our lives. I'm sure liberals would gladly raise the money to buy Donald Trump a golden golf cart if it kept him out of the White House.

In fact, he needs little encouragement. Trump has played his 16th round of golf since becoming President. For this we might be grateful, were it not for two complaints: cost and shameless hypocrisy.

I think I saw on Maddow... in walking back his self-Godwinned presser, Spicey had IIRC three versions of a written explanation. Man... that's Trumpian level proofing.

Somewhere during the day, he called concentration camps "holocaust centers".
I'm fairly certain I've never come across that characterization.

And while chatting with Wolf, he called the current Syria actions Trump's efforts at "destabilizing the region".

And his repeated failures to pronounce Bashar al-Assad's name are priceless.

I don't understand why some of you want this guy fired.
I say... give Spicey a raise dammit.

eta: Oops... didn't see TraneWreck started a thread on Spicey earlier today. No PR job for me.

If you think of his job as being Trump's mouthpiece he's doing it well, because that was exactly the sort of stupid, crass statement Trump himself would make.
