Once, while waiting in the interminable Walmart checkout line, I heard a commotion and saw a store employee chasing a presumed shoplifter out of the store.

I’ve been leaving a WalMart and seen the side door in the entryway open and a couple of security guys grab the guy in front of me and hustle them into the office.

To answer other posts, in some places security will apprehend you, in many places they are instructed not to. I did security a few years ago and was instructed to report to the police. Owner wanted none of us getting injured.

Most security guards (guard card) must abide by the same laws as every other citizen. There are no special powers given. Same with bouncers. They have no legal right to assault anyone, they just get away with it. I know because I hired and worked with many at my brother's nightclub and know the laws, at least in my area.

Anyways, Kyle.....I think he is now on minute 14 of his 15.

Texas A&M is a public university. MIT is a private one. Presumably, if Rittenhouse can meet the academic requirements Texas A&M would have to admit him, though if enough people are admitted ahead of him he may have to be put on a wait list.

They do auto admissions for Texas HS students who qualify. Certain class rank or test score, don’t remember the specifics. For out of state there may be more discretion at play.

But, TAMU is the most conservative public university in Texas. He would likely be welcomed by the community, for the most part.

Whatever "triumph" he is feeling now, it will likely be short lived.

TAMU may be the most conservative university in one of the most conservative states. But, its still a university.

I am sure there are plenty of MAGAchud on campus who will welcome Rittenhouse with open arms. But there are probably at least a few moderates and/or progressives who will be less than thrilled to be in the same class as a violent weirdo of his type.

If he gets in, I assume the university will need to be prepared for regular protests outside whatever class he is attending.

I never went to school there, but on my visits it never felt like a community that was all that welcoming to the type of people who would be upset by KyKy being there. And the few who may be upset are unlikely to make a big deal about it.
