This would be slightly unsettling

I wouldn't be waiting for her to wonder up with a piece of 2x4 and a sledge hammer either

Quote:
'I'd wear ur fascia': Woman sent man 159K texts after online date, police say

Jacqueline Ades sent a man she met on a dating site more than 159,000 text messages — some of which were threatening — over the course of nearly 10 months, according to police documents obtained via a public records request.

Police say Ades began threatening the man after Paradise Valley officers escorted her off his property in July 2017. One text read: "I'd wear ur fascia n the top of ur skull n ur hands n feet," referring to the connective tissue that encloses muscles and organs.

And another said: "I'd make sushi outta ur kidneys n chopsticks outta ur hand bones." ......

And yet she can buy a gun legally in that state...

True

Mind you might have gone the "This nutcase isn't going to make me walk round on ice" route.

I would probably go that as well tbf.

Also she was already rocking up to his house so it wouldn't have made any difference and is actually good evidence grabbing for later.

Which would be answered by why should he have to?

Hand bones are far too short to make for adequate chopsticks.

Trump has very small hands and his handbones would not make very good chopsticks.

Happy to oblige.

Because you need to tell so many people of your new number and then hope a certain person does not find out the number.

About the only things you can do are report the activity to the authorities and move cities, telling no one of your new address. Even these things may not be enough.

I'm reminded of the case of Ella Durant, who was stalked from London to Exeter and then to Glasgow, her highly-motivated creeper managing to track her down each time.

That's over 20 texts per hour... assuming a 24 hour day.

True, but surely he could block her number or numbers? She'd have no incentive to keep changing her own number if she had no idea her texts weren't getting through.

Over 30 per waking hour, if allowing eight hours per day for sleep. I would hazard a guess that, rather than being spread evenly, her activity would have bee in bursts, probably merely resending previously sent messages.

She also broke into his house (quotes from OP link).

Quote:
Court documents say Ades' alleged victim was out of the country when he called police in April 2018 to report that surveillance video showed her inside his home.

Paradise Valley police officers found Ades at the house, taking a bath. Blurred body-camera footage shows officers handcuffing and arresting Ades after locating some of her discarded clothes.
She also seems a bit mentally ill.

Quote:
"He said to me, 'Go away,' for the last 16 months," Ades said. "And I couldn't, because the more I loved him, the more I learned (about) the secrets of the universe."

I think they nicked that incident for an episode of Orange is the New Black.

I don't think so. She had a felony warrant issued in April of 2018.
