What's the connection between the JREF and majorgeeks.com?

I found that James Randi is listed as a friend, with a link to the JREF. How come? It seems to me that the covered areas are rather different, almost NOMA.

Ok I see. I have nothing against the site rather the opposite is true. I was just curious.
