Fox News poll shows majority of USAians in favor of raising taxes on the rich

And Fox poops their pants. Also, teaching kids about fairness is now a bad thing. Because **** you I've got mine. How very christian of them.

They get their paychecks for parroting the party line, not for reporting facts.

"It turns out that even Fox News can't find a way to hijack those numbers. The network's own polls, conducted at the end of January, found a staggering 70 percent of respondents supported raising taxes on annual income over $10 million. In fact, 65 percent were down for raising taxes on those making over $1 million per year."

Well, it seems that AOC's "batcrap crazy" ideas might not be so batcrap crazy after all, at least, to a significant majority of Americans.

Cue the spin from the right in 3, 2, 1.....

Why bother with spin? Isn’t easier to just get the president to say something that will take over the news cycle? Then it just be one more fact washed away by the BS the president tweets every week.

There was spin as they announced it on TV - it's because the youth has been brainwashed by schools to believe that fairness is a good thing.

Or spread lies about some abortion laws. Or make the conversation about some racist stuff some Democrats did. The corporate media will happily play along.

The poll said higher taxes, not 70 - 90%. Don't start preparing AOC for the Presidency just yet.

In the SOTU thread it has been reported that CNN and other polls showed a very favorable view of the SOTU.

This was countered by those claiming that conservatives simply crashed the polls.

I wonder how many Democrats are against such a tax. They can't all be for it.

Remember this was the network that recently had "fair and balanced" as its slogan.

Fair as in white, not fair as in equality.

You're right, the question most commented on was families earning over $10 million paying higher taxes.

However, and there is a however....

A question in a The Hill/HarrisX Daily Poll just prior to the FOX one specifically asked if the respondent favoured or opposed a 70% tax on income over $10 Million and that was favoured 59% to 41%.

They asked every single Ian in the USA? I'm impressed, but unsure of the reasoning...

Liberals/Democrats are so bad at framing.

Not to mention an income tax won't do it (we still need it). Bill and Melinda Gates were on Colbert last night and they said capital gains taxes and the inheritance tax are what is needed to turn the county around. I agree.
