Lindsey Graham Sits On His Balls

So Graham, who seems to be in a panic as he's polling neck and neck with Democrat rival Jaime Harrison, spoke last night in a forum. It was originally supposed to be a debate, but Graham refused to take a COVID-19 test prior to the scheduled debate, so the format was changed, with each candidate now speaking remotely for half an hour, with Harrison going first. At one point Graham said that young black people and immigrants were free to go anywhere in the state, as long as they're conservative, not liberal. I didn't watch the debate, so I thought he must've been paraphrased in a way that made it sound worse that it really was. But nope, he said it.

https://www.newsweek.com/lindsey-gra...rrison-1538026

I've lived in South Carolina for twenty five years, and I long regarded Graham as a bit of a wishy-washy, moderate Republican. He even had moments of apparent courage, as when he stood up to condemn Donald Trump as an unfit candidate for the executive branch. But as Trump ascended to the head of the GOP, Lindsey saw that his course was clear. The time had come to knuckle under - to get down on all fours and really lick boot.

I don't think he's really changed. I think he's just crapped himself into a corner where he's forced to reveal what a weasel he's always been.

We're seeing record turnouts among African Americans in South Carolina in early voting, and I hope Lindsey gets his ass kicked.

Also, I miss Jon Stewart's Lindsey Graham impression.

He was supposedly one of John McCain's best friends. But he failed to defend him when Trump so cowardly attacked him. That was inexcusable. I don't think Cindy and Meghan McCain will ever forgive him for that.

I threw $10 at Harrison's campaign out of my very limited funds...from Oregon, so I figure it's worth $20.

As I recall, he also failed to defend McCain when the Bush campaign (with layers of insulation) sent out mailings in SC implying that McCain had an illegitimate, bi-racial child, playing to the racists in the state. The child in question was their adopted daughter. That was one of the scummiest campaign tactics I'd seen - up until then.

A little while ago Graham was bitching that his opponent was raising far more money than he was.

And with his recent flub, then I expect that Graham will have far more to bitch about than money.

In any event, I sure do hope Graham will soon become just another Trump toady that is tossed into the trash bin.

Graham was right.

Harrison has raised a record $57 million in the Q3 in his race against Graham.

This is the highest quarterly amount raised by a Senate candidate in US history.

Graham should be his own man and let Trump out him. The only person surprised will be Graham when he finds out everyone already knows he's gay.

Lindsey Graham blared out a blatant signal to pro-lifers in Georgia today with his comments in the Barrett hearing. That he was signaling Georgia voters in his very tight Senate race was pretty obvious.

He raved about how this was a pro-life female being appointed to the courts.

Another bit of graham news...

During the supreme Court nominee hearings, he made a quip where he referred to the "good old days" of segregation.

Now, lady Lindsey claims he was being sarcastic (and his opponent in the Senate race says that might have been his intent), but given his recent "black conservatives can go anywhere" comments you would think he would be more careful.

It's funny because he's supposedly gay?

Not sure why the libs need to hear this, but it's not cool to be a bigot just because your target is a Republican ghoul.

It's because of Graham's hypocrisy, not his homosexuality.

Aaaannnnddd... he's just broken the law.

From: The Independent
Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham has been accused of violating federal election laws for using an intermission at the Supreme Court confirmation hearings to discuss campaign fundraising efforts and call for “help” from South Carolina voters...The move was immediately denounced by Democratic lawmakers and legal experts alike as having potentially violated laws which specifically prohibit members of Congress from soliciting or receiving “a donation of money or other thing of value in connection with a Federal election, while in any room or building occupied in the discharge of official duties”.

Not that I expect anything to come of it (given the fact that Barr is a Trump stooge.)

I did see one commentator suggest that an FBI agent could probably get an arrest warrant from any judge (since it was such a clear cut crime). It would certainly throw the supreme court nomination hearings into disarray.
