Story #1 : Analysis: Inaction in the Sudan crisis - June 22 (UPI)

Why not even a peep of protest from the Muslim world about the atrocities committed by Muslims? And so much for the value of having an African UN Secretary General.

What a terrible comparison. Everyone knows the first rule of conspiracies is that they have to be at least slightly plausible.

Annan has a point. Why is everyone looking to a slim facade of a debate club for a solution to the Sudan problem? Ohhhhhhhh, thats right, because Mr. Annan has implied in the past that the UN is a defacto world governing body.

Let's face it, waging a war againt the muslims of Sudan will make you public enemy number 1 to the muslim brotherhood. Don't expect France and Germany to take action while we are tied up in Afghanistan and Iraq. They are happy not rocking the boat.

Really, Sudan would make a good front in the war on terror. Like Iraq, there is a job there worth doing. Like Iraq, by taking care of a good objective (saving the Sudan) we will draw the Al Ihkwan types out of the woodwork. I think Egypt would love it every fanatic thats bad for tourism left their country to go die in Sudan.

Kofi Annan's New Year's Resolutions:

1) Resolve to cut the word “Secretary” from title. “General Annan” is much catchier.

2) Write resolution to write more resolutions.

3) Make the UN more bureaucratish.

4) Bad-mouth US in front of Middle Eastern diplomats some more then apply for US citizenship.

5) Make sure UN diplomatic immunity applies to downloading illegal nude photos of that smoking broad Condi.
