Johnson government loses commons vote

Despite having a huge majority, despite it being something that has been attacked from all parties, despite there being no political advantage Johnson went ahead with a vote about how harrassment and so on in the commons is to be handled.

And lost.

This will go nowhere though, won’t it? There no remote chance of a vote of no confidence in the PM. His leadership is safe, so nothing but a yawnfest surely?

Embarrassing for Johnson, and for Rees-Mogg too. I think there are far more important issues that should be on the front pages, but it still warms the cockles.
