When will we see Jones blow past Moore? Will it be at around 80%?

It appears they've run out of Dark Red counties to report. Jones fell to about a 55,000 vote deficit at about the 64%-Reporting level. That's now dropped to a 21,000 deficit at 73%.

And guess what, conservatives? The largest counties - all running heavily to Jones, have yet to report fully. Coming soon: Jefferson County - which will be Jones +55,000 at least (half the votes are still not tallied). Montgomery: Jones +25,000. Mobile: Jones +25,000

Well, Jefferson and Montgomery counties haven't counted half their precincts yet and Jones has a 54,000 and 21,000 lead respectively in those counties. So I'd say your answer is whenever those counties have counted more of their votes (as long as that ratio holds).

Your posts are up-lifting. I was ready to call it for Moore 30 minutes ago.

80% counted and the difference is less than 1% now.

I'm hoping that Jones wins, Moore demands a recount, but because the Alabama Supreme Court said "go ahead and destroy the records" a recount is nearly impossible.

One can hope, can't he?

Ka-ching! Jefferson County (Birmingham) coming in with big numbers. It's almost over.

By the NYT, there are about 340 more precincts to count and a large majority of those are in counties that Jones is leading in. Going to be very interesting...

There are a whopping 6 precincts in red counties in the entire state yet to report (if I'm counting correctly). There are significantly more in the blue counties and Jones only need make up 7,000 more votes. This may not be close. NYTimes has Jones at 73% likely to come out on top.

Didn't suppress it enough you mean. That such efforts can be overcome is not evidence those efforts don't exist.
